7 : The bet

I woke up and was really excited for today. When I suddenly remembered how work is going to be. Is it after? Am I excused? I tried to remember if Ji Hun told me about that. I just got dressed for work and went ahead. I brought my stuff for hiking just in case.

I went to the elevator when someone stopped it. I looked to see. It's Ji Hun, I smiled a bit. "Hi, I came here to see you" he said. "Were going hiking remeber??" I smiled. "De, kamsamnida " I answered. "So, I'll give you time to change you outfit and meet you at the lobby" he said. "Uh geurom , --"

"How about ahjumma? I'll tell her your off for today" he answered and left. I can feel my heart beat faster and feel a lot smaller. I have... what do you call it? Feels. Yeah. I went to the lavatory and changed.

I met Ji Hun in the lobby and saw... Seo Jin. "Whew, thought you guys would leave me out or something " Seo Jin said. Ji Hun smiled. "Shall we go? " he said. We rode in the car. I volunteered for the seat beside the driver. Both of them sat at the back. I could hear them arguing.

"Yah, Ji Hun no need to bring her to hiking it was a bet remember? "Not some, "grab a girl and go hiking!!" Seo Jin Said. "Sheesh don't you like it?" " the person who wins the bet can already go with her ... And that's me" Ji Hun proudly answered. "Good one, Ji Hun " I said to myself. I didn't want Seo Jin to win me.

----Hiking----

We got out of the car and started hiking. I could hear Seo Jin complain. "Ji hun .. Seriously? This far and high?" He laughed. "Okay starting here, we both are on our own, of course both of us have maps". "It doesn't matter which path you take as long as you find your way" Ji Hun said. "Um, I have a bet too" I said. Both of them looked at me
. "If I win, I want to be promoted " "promoted? That's some easy!" Seo Jin said. "And for you to not boss me around or play with me" I said. Seo Jin fell silent. Ji Hun laughed.

"Hang eun il bil eoyo!" Seo Jin said. We both parted ways. Ji Hun took the path on the far left, Seo Jin on the right. Well, I took the middle path. Walking , I could hear the crickets chirping, frogs and brids, flying above me. The weather when we came here was quite sunny , it was a good thing it dimmed a bit.

I checked the time. 29 minutes of me walking. The rain started to drizzle and got my hair a bit wet. I placed my hood and looked at my map. The path I took now has two paths. I tried to look closely to the map. It was blurred by the rain. Aish may luck be on my side. I chose the left path. Reason? I don't even know it's just what my intuition tells me.

The path kind of looks different, instead of those friendly birds flying above me earlier, it was now crows. Instead of the chirping crickets, I only see really tall and old trees. "Weird, am I lost?"

Seo Jin's POV

I took the right path. I hiked fast, so I could get to the top and win Yun Seo kekekeke. I deserve Yun Seo rather than that Ji Hun right? I zipped my jacket because of the mosquitoes biting me. As I day dreamed myself winning and finally reaching the top. I started to drizzle. Good thing I am a man of sense. I brought and umbrella with me.

I wanted to call Ji Hun over our walkie talkies and let him know I am almost at the middle. "Ji Hun ah, I am almost at the midd---" I wasn't able to continue what I was saying I hear a girl shout over the line. Yun Seo shouted. I have to find her. I quickly traced my path back and called Ji Hun. "Yah, did you hear Yun Seo scream??" I asked. "Maybe she screamed because she imagined me " he said. "Stop it---". We both heated the scream again " Yun seo?" Ji Hun said. " yah Yun Seo !!! " I called. "Ji Hun I told you.." "Fine, I'll go looking here on this path" Ji Hun said. "I'll also call for help" I agreed and started looking. I reached the path where we started and went to the path she took. At first I was walking with my umbrella. Now it didn't matter and I started running.

(Yieeee Seo Jin and Yun Seo kekekeke)

"Yun Seo!!" I called. "Show up!!! Tell me I'm a bad boss!!" "Go on!!" I called. Still no answer. I tried to talk to her walkie talkie, it was broken. I stopped running and reached two paths. I looked in my map. She probably should have gone to the right path right? But wait, she wouldn't scream if she took the right path. I contacted Ji Hun . "Founde her yet?" "No, she's not in this path" he said. "Okay, I'm looking at the path where she went and in the middle there are two paths right?" "Yeah so?" Ji Hun said. "She took the wrong path. I'm going to the left path" I said. "Go, the police are on their way" Ji Hun said.

"Yun Seo?? Yun Seo!!" Damn, is that girl even alive? I was walking when someone walked fast. "Omo!! Ahjussi!! Jebal!! Please, I don't have money" I said , as I covered my face. "Yah, what the heck are you doing??" I looked up to see who it is. Kekekeke Yun Seo was safe. "Yah !! Don't go screaming to the walkie talkie it got me and Ji Hun worried!!" I said. She looked confused. "What?? I didn't scream at all"

I laughed. "Now, is not the time to play jokes.. We both heard you did" I said. She crossed her arms. "Fine, there was a woman who shouted, but I tell you it wasn't me" she said. "Well, if it wasn't you, who then ahjumma?" I teased. "Excuse me, ahjussi first of all I don't scream like that" I raised an eyebrow. "Am I a pabo to even open the walkie talkie and scream ahh!! Twice? I don't think so" she said. "Come with me I saw a restaurant over there" my eyes widened. "Restaurant? Are you crazy?" I said. She pointed a sign. "Crazy huh? What do you call this?" I was surprised. A restaurant? Here?

I must be crazy. I called Ji Hun "she's found" I said. "Oh, and we will be staying here for a while we both got hungry" I said and placed it in my pocket. "Secret garden" I read.

The restaurant obviously looked old and was not near a classy type. Animals all over the place, piles of leaves and flickering sign. Tons of wind chimes and smoke filled the surroundings.

I have to admit it was a bit creepy for a restaurant here but, who cares? I was starving.

Sorry for ending it here hahah 42 reads? Looks like people are reading my book after all and it was just a week ago... Fighting!!
