He holds my hand tightly as we are watching our baby on the screen and waiting for the doctor to tell us the gender.
"It looks like we are having a tiny her royal highness, it's a girl congratulations guys."
Bukhosi chuckles loudly and I smile, guys I'm having a mini me
"Thank you doc."
Bukhosi wipes the gel and helps me up, he kisses my forehead twice smiling, we conclude everything with the doctor and leave the practice.
"I knew that inkosazane ka baba le."
I roll my eyes at him, and he laughs before driving off.
"Isikhwele mama."
"I'm not jealous."
"You will get the son that you want, plus our baby will need a baby brother."
I quickly look him
"Well for your own information bhuti, I'm not getting pregnant anytime soon, after giving birth to this baby."
"Don't be so sure Sthandwa sam."
He says shrugging proudly.
"Sobahle Zulu, I'm starting this movie with or without you."
Bukhosi says walking to the cinema room
"I'm coming."
I follow behind him
"What took you so long?"
He asks tapping space for me to sit near him.
"I was finishing up my sour porridge."
He smiles before starting the movie
"Where are your snacks?"
"Kanti we are not sharing yours?"
"Fine we will share."
"Thank you, Sthandwa sam."
He says kissing my forehead and pulling me into his arms.
"You're most welcome."
He holds me into his warm arms as we watch a movie I picked.

She fell asleep into the second movie, she looks so cute and peaceful right now but I'm not going to let her sleep here, I carry her into my arms she stirs before slightly opening her eyes.
"Put your hands around my neck."
She does that before snuggling onto my chest, I walk upstairs carefully with her in my arms.
I place her on top of the bed and take a fleece and place it on top of her, I look at her beautiful face I'm so tempted to sleep next to her but I have to respect her space, I kiss her forehead and whisper I love you before leaving the room.
I call my dad when I get to my bedroom.
"Sawubona Bukhosibomvelo."
"Yebo Sawubona Baba. "
"Why are you calling me this late, is everything alright?"
He asks in a worried tone
"Konke ku hamba kahle mageba, I wanted to ask if you can help me look for a vine yard that's being sold."
"I will ask someone I know who operates in that industry, why are you looking for a vine yard?"

He laughs

I wake up and rush to the toilet to pee, after I brush my teeth and shower.
"Morning Ma."
I greet one the cleaning ladies
"Good morning sisi, should I prepare anything for you?"
"Thanks Ma, but I will manage."
I honestly don't like how I'm being treated like a fragile person because of this pregnancy.
"Good morning Sthandwa sam."
Bukhosi says standing behind me, while I prepare breakfast.
"Morning Bukhosi."
"How did you sleep?"
"I slept well and thank you for tucking me in."
He holds my waist and brings his head near my ear making my body tingle all over.
"I'm glad you slept well."
He says too close to my ear.
"Bukhosi can you move away from me, you are disturbing me from cooking."
He places a kiss on the side of my face before moving and I release the breath, I didn't know I was holding.
"Kanti you are going to work today?"
I ask because he is wearing a navy blue suit and a crisp white shirt, I have to admit that my husband is a walking sin.
"Yep I have a few meetings and paperwork, but I will try to comeback early."
"No you don't have to comeback early, I'm fine plus I'm used to being alone during midday."
I say placing breakfast on the table before settling on a chair.
"I want to spend time with you and our baby."
He says settling next to me and holding my hand.
"Ok."
"Maybe you should join me for lunch at the office."
"No I will pass, I want to lay low during this pregnancy and me going out will bring uncessary attention to me and, I don't think I want that I just want a peaceful normal pregnancy away from the publics eye."
"I understand Sthandwa sam and I will ensure that you are safe all the time, but you know that we will have to announce our pregnancy to officially to the public soon?"
"I know it is part of royal protocol but, I don't think I'm ready yet."
"Ok mama we will do that once you are ready."
