"Gerard I need to leave."
Gerard scoffed. "You're funny." I shook my head. "No, I need to leave." I was sick of this, and I meant it this time. "Let me leave." Gerard said nothing but he stood up and walked towards me, grabbing my waist once he was close enough. He leaned down and kissed me slowly, pulling away after 10 seconds or so. "Are you sure you want to leave me, the one you've longed for?"
I knew what he was doing and I wasn't going to fall for it but he did have a point. "Don't play these games with me Frank, you know damn well you want me." He spoke. "You're not good for me and you know that, you kidnapped me for no reason and then you go and kill my best friend and parents! And let's not forget that you're a fucking vampire who has bitten me multiple times!" I screamed, pushing Gerard away in a fury.
"You always do this, you'll get over it soon. I didn't kill your parents either."
His words were straight up disrespectful, he catches me when I'm vulnerable and gets mad once I'm not anymore. I need to come up with a plan to get out of here. I can't get out the same way I did last time, I have to be smart about it now.
"Bullshit."
Six hours later
I haven't spoken to Gerard since the incident earlier and I knew the sun was going to set soon. Based on my prior knowledge, tonight was one of the nights he was going out. He locks everything, obviously, but if I break a window that might change something. I have to figure out a plan to where I'm going to go first.
I could go to Toby's house, Ray's maybe. Toby would be the best option he would believe me. My heart was racing as I laid out my plan in my head. The sun was setting and I had to stay up tonight, I couldn't fall asleep. I knew Gerard would be waiting until I was asleep to go out.
He broke my phone, I already knew that information. Anybody could track my phone and it would lead them right here, Gerard was smarter than that. I heard Gerard downstairs and I listened closely to try and hear what exactly he was doing. It sounded like he was locking stuff up.
I had to tell him when I was "going to bed" but it couldn't be soon, he'd get suspicious if I went to sleep that early.
Around 11 I heard Gerard coming up the stairs and I jumped into the bed, pulling the covers up and pretended to be asleep. I stayed still and tried to make my breathing even as I could feel him looking at me. Soon enough he shut the door and locked it.
My heart was racing as I grabbed the metal wire I found on the floor. I shoved it in the lock on the window, twisting strategically. My hands shook with every breath I took. Once I heard the click of the window unlocking I pulled out the wire and lifted it up, a screen was the only think blocking me from getting outside.
The wire was too small to cut through the mesh so I frantically looked around the room. My eyes landed on a small golden key, I was assuming it didn't have a use anymore. I picked it up and ran towards the window, cutting open the screen.
I peeked my head out of the window, the air was crisp and cold. Gerard wasn't here and I had no idea how to get down. I was on the second story and the house was anything but small. The house was made out of wood so I could maybe get ahold on the boards as I climbed down, I had no idea if that would work though.
I pushed myself out of the window and placed my foot on the wall, slipping slightly but I tried my hardest to stay where I was. I scaled down the house as quickly as I could, I jumped once I got near the bottom. Before I left, I decided on one last thing. I pulled the lighter I stole from one of the drawers out of my pocket, stared at the house, and watched as I pressed the flame against the wood.
The house quickly caught ablaze and I gave myself no time to think before I started sprinting towards Toby's house. There was a small smile present on my face when the air smelt heavily of smoke. Time seemed to freeze... or move insanely fast... I couldn't tell.
I recognized the area so I didn't struggle too much trying to find Toby's. A thin layer of fog covered the ground, how ironic. I had to be careful, Gerard could be anywhere at any time, I can't risk him finding me.
Toby's house was just down the street now, I spend my last bit of energy to make it to the front door. My breaths were coming out in gasps and the house was only a few feet away now. I jumped onto the porch and started banging my fist against the door, praying Toby would hear.
"Oh my god answer!"
The door flung open thirty seconds later and I was met face to face with my dear cousin. I didn't even give him time to realize who I was before pulling him into a bone crushing hug. I let the tears fall as soon as I felt the safety of his arms.
"Gerard he's a vampire- he kidnapped me, killed Vic and my parents! He- he tried to kill me too! Oh god Toby." I cried out, my hands shaking as they clung onto Toby's shirt. "Frank..." I didn't need Toby to tell me that Gerard found me, for I already knew.
I pulled away slowly, giving a look to Toby that said "trust me." No animals were making noise, no cars were driving by or the sound of wind blowing through the air. I gave Gerard one last look before grabbing onto his hair and kissing him.
I knew how desperate Gerard was for my love and giving him an ounce of it was a good enough distraction to allow Toby to get something, anything that could help rid me of Gerard and his evil. I knew this wouldn't hold Gerard off for long so I was praying something good would happen soon.
I pulled away for a breath of air and saw Toby standing behind him. Gerard didn't say anything albeit I expected him to. "I hate you Gerard." The faint sound of sirens were in the distance and Toby glanced behind himself before putting Gerard in a headlock and pinning him to the ground.
Around 5 police cars parked outside of his house and multiple cops stepped out. "Gerard Way you are under arrested for first degree murder and kidnapping, I thought you were better than this." I didn't recognize the officer but I figure Gerard worked with him. Toby got off of Gerard and let the officer handcuff him.
"You can't kill him." I expressed. "It won't work, he's a vampire you'd have to do something I don't know!" Gerard gave me a small smirk before saying something for the first time since he's been here. "Frank was the one who set the fires, I saw him. I have pictures check my phone I don't care."
I watched as the man lead him away. I wasn't sure if he believed Gerard or not but the way he looked at me and then pulled Gerard phone out of his pocket made me believe that he did. My heart dropped as he handed the phone to another officer and he unlocked it.
I had no idea what to do besides let him look through the evidence and then pull his own handcuffs out, arresting me.
Okay that's the end I hated this but whatever I got bored with this story and wanted to end it so yeah.
