My family and friends began to flood into my house, I was sitting on the couch and almost shit myself when I felt hands pull me back and almost throw me to the floor. "Toby!" I shrieked, punching him in the arm as I regained my balance. "Happy birthday Frankie." I rolled my eyes dramatically. "Thanks I guess."

His head turned to the door when he heard the door handle turn. "Hey..." he said, nudging me slightly. "Isn't that the cop that brought you to mine?" I looked over and saw Gerard standing there. "Yeah, his mom and my mom are like best friends now just don't worry about it." Toby nodded and turned his attention back to me.

"Why aren't you saying hi?" I gave him a blank stare. "Because we're not all buddy buddy." I argued and I walked over to the kitchen to grab a drink. "Hey Frank." An unfamiliar voice blurted out behind me. I turned around and was met by a man with blonde hair that was obviously dyed and pushed back off his forehead. "I'm Mikey."

I took a hold of his outstretched hand and gave him a smile. "Happy birthday, I know we don't know each other but by what Gerard has said you seem pretty cool." I thought about what he said for a moment, trying to comprehend the words. "Thank you, and Gerard talks about me?" Mikey must've thought I was joking because he let out a little laugh.

"Of course, he's like obsessed with you." Mikey had a faint smile plastered on his face and I felt wary of Gerard. "You two would be cute together."

Two or so hours passed and I was sitting on the couch talking to Vic and Ray. "Frank." I heard a voice call out. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" My heart dropped and I gave both of my friends a quick glare before craning my head back to look at the man behind me.

"Why?" I wasn't going to trust him that easily. "Because I need to talk to you, it'll only take a minute." I let out a shaky breath, I felt compelled to follow him, I had a premonition of what might come if I complied but I had no choice. His aura was pulling me toward him and I couldn't back away, a wave rushed over me as we walked into the guest bedroom down the hallway.

"This won't hurt, I've got you." His voice was calm and soft, my vision went black as I felt his arms hold me up.

My eyes shot open and they darted around the room, they landed on Gerard who was looking down at me; his face hiding something I couldn't find. "Are you okay?" The amount of concern in his voice scared me and had no idea what he was taking about. "You fell and hit your head." He let go of me once I regained my balance and I had a bunch of questions.

"Why are we in here?" My voice was shaky but I felt no pain in my head. "I brought you in here to get away from everyone, you know, crowding around you." I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying, rather how alluring he was. I felt myself moving closer to him before he placed a hand on my shoulder and guided me out of the door.

"My head doesn't hurt, are you sure I fell?" Gerard nodded. "Positive." I furrowed my eyebrows and frowned before returning my gaze back to the floor.

The party went on for another hour or so and the only people left were my parents along with Gerard and I.

I was in the living room talking to Gerard when we overheard a conversation happening in the dining room. "I mean, I'd rather him date a cop than anyone else." My moms voice was clear and I moved closer to the open doorway leading to the other room. "They get along really well, it's like they already are dating."

My jaw hit the floor when I heard what my dad said and I had to hold back a laugh. "I trust Gerard enough with Frank, I don't think he'll mind if we head out for a bit." I looked back at Gerard and he had an amused look on his face. The conversation ended after that and I slowly walked back over to the couch, sitting on the same cushion I was previously situated on.

"We're going to head out for a bit, don't burn down the house or throw a party." I rolled my eyes jokingly at my mom. They headed out shortly after and I was laying with my head near Gerard and my phone resting on my chest.

"Hey Gerard?" I started, turning my head to look at the man next to me. "What do you do? Like, do you play an instrument or anything?" He bit his lip and smiled before running a hand through his raven hair. "I play violin." My eyes went wide and I said up, my phone falling on the couch in the process. "No way! That's so rad!" I exclaimed.

"Do you have a video of you playing or something?" I was eager to hear him play. "I could probably find one, yeah." A smile was plastered on my face and I scooted closer to him. "Here's one, Mikey took it while I was practicing and then he sent it to me." It was winter by Vivaldi, I only knew that because I was really interested in orchestral music for a while.

"And that's practice?" He shrugged. "It's not that hard." I scoffed, "I find that hard to believe." My head was practically leaning on his and I backed away slowly. "Do your parents genuinely think we're dating?" He said with a smile. "I guess so, I don't even know what leads them to think that." He shifted on the couch, fidgeting with his fingers and seemingly contemplating something in his head.

"Maybe they think that because you called me alluring straight to my face." A wave of horror and shock rushed over me and I was speechless. "You told me that I was oh so alluring and were practically swooning over me." My face turned bright red and it heated up to the point where I genuinely thought my face was on fire.

"I never said that." I fought back, it was true. Unless somehow I managed to accidentally say it out loud. But I knew I was unsuccessful in my attempt to somehow gaslight him into thinking he imagined it. "Yeah, okay sugar." I hate to admit it but the nickname made butterflies erupt in my stomach. "Maybe we should watch Romeo and Juliet, you could use a few tips. Although I do have to say, being called alluring did make my confidence go up."

"Oh, shut up." I lightly smacked him on the arm and he just winked before bursting out into laughter. "You're so alluring, Gerard." I said in a high pitched voice and twirled my non existent long hair. "You're not allowed to flirt with cops you're under arrest, anything you say can and will be used against you" I smirked before screaming "suck my dick!" At the top of my lungs.

"I'd love to."
