Soonhee took her step confidently as her hair swayed back following the air. A black file wrapped in her hands with an envelop laying on top of it" Is Mr. Park in his office? " She asked, stopping at the table in front of Jihoon's office.
" Yes, Ms. Do you want me to call him? " Zhang Hao, his secretary asked.
Soonhee drew a smile as she shook her head " It's okay. I will go and meet him by myself. Thank you "
Hao bowed slightly to show respect as Soonhee walked past him and went straight to the said room.
She raised up her fist and hit her knuckles on the glass door, receiving a " come in " from the other side.
" I want your signature " Soonhee uttered as soon as she entered his office and was greeted with Jihoon with his glasses, frowning as his eyes were on the computer. Papers were all over his desk
" Come," Jihoon said.
Soonhee ambled her way approaching him and passed the file hand in hand. She then gathered all of the papers on his desk and aligned them by tapping them on the desk.
Jihoon gave her no reaction as he just picked up his pen and scribbled on the paper after he examined the content. He then passed back the file, looking back to his computer " Anything else? "
" Here " She retorted, pushing an envelope to him " I sent an email to Serenity Inn to reconsider and they finally approved "
Jihoon froze for seconds and looked at her " Really? "
Soonhee nodded " You said that it was not professional to mix personal things with work. I did a little scolding and sent a formal email because he already sent us the answer "
Jihoon gave her a warm smile " Thank you "
Oh god. Her inner self squealed after she felt her heart skip a beat
" Anyway, staying until midnight again? " Soonhee asked right away.
Even though she already knew what staying until midnight meant.
The smile then dropped as he stared blankly at her " Dinner? " he asked back. Because this is not the first time Soonhee has asked for a dinner together.
She pursed her lips into a thin line and nodded " Yeah, I have never cooked for you for a proper meal yet "
Long enough he stared at her as he blinked " Do you take this marriage seriously? "
" No " A word slipped off her lips quickly.
" Then, why are you putting too much effort? Didn't we already talk about this? Both of us are doing this for the sake of our company "
As if she was hit with reality, she nodded. She understood and knows it damn well that all of the lovely dovey moments only happen when he was drunk. Because This guy will never see me as his wife. She thought.
" Just say that you don't want to. I only want to cook you a home meal since you had eaten too much outside food and you know that's unhealthy " Soonhee blurted out, twirling away on her heels, ready to make her way out of the office.
Why is it so hard to make a good deed?
" Fine " A word dropped, stopping her from stepping further.
" I will eat your home meal for dinner tonight "
Soonhee whirled back around, looking at her husband who was studying the document with a pen whirling between his fingers. A smile played on her lips " Thank you "
" I got a half day for today, want to have dinner outside? " Jihoon asked, still not budging his eyes from the papers.
" I said home meal, Jihoon "
