Four years later...

Jihoon tucked his left hand into the coat pocket as he shoved a lollipop into his mouth, savoring the sweetness that lingers on his tongue. He placed his butt on the bench as his back laid back to the backrest comfortably.

Not until a toddler approaches him and fills in the empty seat beside him all giggly and clingy to him.

Jihoon put his attention on the little girl and grinned "Hey sweetie" He greeted.

Looking into her eyes, this girl did remind him of someone. The almond-coloured eyes with the almond-shaped eyes.

Someone that he really wished for was back in his arms.

The girl squirmed into his arms and grinned mischievously "Can I have those?" The said girl wobbled her eyebrows which made him chuckle in amusement.

This girl does have flirting skills

Jihoon pulled out the lollipop of his mouth "This one?" he asked as he received an eager nod from the little miss "But I already ate it though? Want me to buy y-"

His words were cut off when the toddler snatched the lollipop from his hand and shoved it into her mouth "Thank you, handsome boy" She winked as Jihoon was left in another hit of amusement with his mouth agape open

This girl surely got some rizz.

"Sooha? Is that you?"

Jihoon's ears perked up as the girl beside him also turned to the caller which left him stunned.

"Oh it is really Sooha" The woman jogged down to the bench and picked the girl up into her embrace "I'm so- Jihoon?"

The latter quickly got on his feet "Soonhee" rubbing his hands at the back of his pants. He glanced at the kid in her arms and trailed his eyes back to her.

Now he knows why Sooha's eyes remind him too much of her

It was similar to Soonhee's

But the fact that Jihoon never touched her made him wonder

"Soonhee?" Another voice broke the silence.

"Oh Hao, I found her" Soonhee uttered to the man who just arrived and bounced the said girl in her arms.

"Oh? It is Jihoon"

A realization hit him like a truck. His eyes went back and forth from Soonhee to Hao and to the girl. Jihoon gulped his saliva down.

He didn't expect this.

"Long time no see you" Jihoon broke off the awkward silence between them.

"Yeah" Soonhee bopped down her head, agreeing.

"How are you, suni?" Jihoon asked.

Suni, The nickname that he used when he was too drunk back then.

"I'm fine"

"I just wanted to tell you something" he turned his head and linked their eyes.

"Go ahead"

"All this time, you are still my wife" Jihoon muttered in his small voice as he kept his head down which made Soonhee's eyes go around in shock.

"I thought you were going to come back to me. Which I had been waiting for until this moment" Jihoon got the courage to lift up his head and shoot her a smile "And now you are in front of me"

Soonhee kept her eyes glued on him. Ears wide awake to take all of his words in her as her eyes became glossy like a glass.

"The wait is over" He uttered, trailing his eyes to Hao with the little kid who slid down the slide.
