The crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, creating a warm, romantic ambiance that filled the room. The soft glow of the chandeliers cast a nostalgic light over everything.

A string quartet played sweet melodies, just as it had at Jihoon's wedding, creating an atmosphere filled with emotions and promises.

This ballroom held hundreds of memories. He had his first meeting with Soonhee when his mum announced the wedding here.

In this ballroom too, his wedding ceremony was held with Soonhee as the bride.

But, that was all the past now. He was here alone. If that time he didn't know about Soonyoung's existence as Soonhee's brother, now he was one of the guests at his brother-in-law's wedding.

He used the same aisle that Jihoon once used to exchange his vows before becoming a legal husband to Kwon Soonhee.

And now he was longing for the memories.

"Jihoon" A voice called out, snapping Jihoon back to reality.

Jihoon trailed his eyes up to find the voice owner's eyes "Oh, Hana"

"Can I sit here?" She asked, pointing at the chair across him. Jihoon nodded in a response.

"What are you doing here?" Jihoon asked, a tone of sarcasm was heard in his tone.

"Accompanying a friend" She replied.

And an unusual silence swelled up between them. Jihoon sipped the drink before Hana started the conversation with "I'm sorry"

Jihoon looked up to her in surprise as Hana rubbed her hands as nervousness began to build up in her. "For what had happened back then" She stopped herself "at your house" she added a bit if the detail.

Jihoon immediately looked away as he could feel himself burning in emotions.

Regret, anger, disappointed, and all.

"I heard you..." Hana paused, glancing up to Jihoon who still refused to look at her "...getting a divorce"

Jihoon snapped back to her and jeered "Happy, now?"

Her body jerked as Hana was left in stunned. Not expecting such a reaction. She ducked her head down " I'm really sorry..." She apologized, sounding almost whimpering.

Jihoon scoffed in disbelief "Really? You are crying? when you are the one who ruins everything?" He kept his voice low, aware of his whereabouts

Hana bit her lip, fighting back tears and trying to find the right words to respond.

"Jihoon, I know I messed up," Hana began, her voice shaking. "I can't change the past."

Jihoon couldn't bear to look at her "Hana, whatever you're doing now, it's too little, too late. It won't change what happened."

Hana lowered her head in regret. "I understand that, Jihoon. I'm not expecting forgiveness, but I want you to know that I'm genuinely sorry for how everything turned out."

Jihoon's gaze remained stern. He let out a harsh sigh and sipped his drink again before he demanded.

"Find a new job as soon as possible and leave my hotel immediately after you get one"
