"Do you like it?" Juliette asks me, standing in her living room with a small smile on her face. I look around her apartment, taking note of everything I see.
The plants, the scattered books and the pairs of heels left in the hallway. It's like a new way to see her, analyse her life and see what I've missed. Her apartment was beautiful, but I loved it because of how much it was filled with her.
"I do, not too bad of a decorator are you?" I say, smirking as I bend down to look at the photos she had stacked up on the windowsill. I see photos of Josh and Emery, she'll have to replace those. And I smile at the photos of her laughing with new friends I don't recognise.
Her smile was radiant, it lit her whole face up and cast everyone into the darkness. I liked her smile, I loved it when I was the one to earn it.
"It's a little bit messy but I didn't know you were coming back to mine," Juliette admits, bending over to pick up her small dog. I glance at it, scrunching my nose up at the matted thing. I wasn't biased but Bacon was far cuter.
"You should have assumed my charm would lead me back into your bed," I responded, glancing at her as her cheeks tinted red.
Juliette walks towards her bedroom and I follow after her, looking around for more clues about her life but it's the same as the kitchen. Fashion magazines were scattered, plants were everywhere and shoes and purses were all over the floor. I think she might have developed a spending problem.
"Don't mind the bed, headboards broken and I've yet to fix it," She mutters, walking into the bathroom to wash her makeup off while she gets ready for bed. My jaw twitches as I step close to the bed, looking at the cracked wooden headboard.
"How did it break?" I ask her, staring at Juliette as she bends over the skin to wash her face. Her blue dress rises as she leans forward and I glance at her ass peaking out from the bottom of the dress.
Oh Juliette, the things I'm going to do to you to make up for lost time.
"I was drunk one night and thought it would be a good idea to jump on my bed. It wasn't," She replies, drying her face with a towel.
I nod, relaxing a little as I sit on her bed, "How many men have you let touch you since me?" I ask her flatly.
Juliette walks out of the bathroom and I smile at the freckles on her cheeks now more visible, she doesn't say anything as she opens a drawer and looks through it.
"Does it matter?" She asks after she sees a pair of light pink silk pyjamas to change into. I shake my head at her, pushing down the intoxicating jealousy.
"No, but I'd like to know," I respond.
Juliette turns around, the pyjamas in her hands, "Two with a joint lasting time of fifteen minutes."
I smirk, "Pussies."
She laughs and I walk into her bathroom to change, Juliette told me she kept a spare toothbrush under her sink so I used that and stole some of her cleanser to wash my face as I changed. Lucky for her, I didn't have any pj bottoms to change into so I walked out in only my boxers.
Juliette was sitting in her bed, scrolling on her phone. She looked up when she saw me and I watched her eyes travel down. I pretended not to notice her checking me out as I walked to the bed but she sat up fully and raised a hand. Stopping me.
"Turn your body to the left," She asked me and I did, giving her access to the side of me.
Juliette crawled across her bed to look closely at my ribs, I realised she was looking at my tattoo and I smirked as her cold fingers ran along it.
