Chapter 8. "Preparing"

After waking up to another day you got up tired and went to the bathroom to wash your face and brush your teeth.

You noticed that you weren't in pajamas due to the lack of tiredness you had last night when you and Wally finished decorating you house with the furniture you had since you moved.

You head to the kitchen to make yourself a nice breakfast, you had bacon and eggs on your mind so you decided to make that.

But you forgot that you just moved in and you didn't have any groceries, so while sighing you went back to your room to get ready.

You looked in your closet to see the clothes you wanted to wear, you picked out a blue sweater with some black pants and then went back to the living room to put on your shoes that were to the side of the door.

You hurried off and grabbed your keys and head off to Howdy's store.

You spotted Frank watering his garden and then he noticed you, and you waved at him saying "Good morning Frank", and he waved back to you and told you good morning also.

Then you continued your journey and arrived at Howdy's store.

You opened the door by the sound of a bell ringing, Howdy then rushed to the counter.

Howdy: "Morning Y/n!", he waved.

Y/n: "Morning Howdy!" You said waving back at him.

Howdy: "So what brings you here so early?"

Y/n: "Oh Well, I just wanted to have some bacon and eggs for breakfast but then I forgot that I didn't have any groceries since I just moved here."

Howdy: "I see, nothing but a good day to start with some breakfast."

Y/n: "Well then Imma get the things I need."

Howdy" Alright, Imma be here waiting."

You then went to look for the groceries you needed, everything was placed neatly that you were sure that you needed to be careful while grabbing the item since you didn't want to ruin the perfection that it was in.

You then remembered that you promised Wally to go on a picnic together so you were thinking on what to bring for the picnic.

You were thinking of baking some cookies and bringing some tea, and some apples.

After getting the items you needed you went to the counter to buy the items.

Howdy: "Are you having a picnic with someone?" He said as he was scanning the items.

Y/n: "How did you know?"

Howdy: "Well people get these many items when they are doing a picnic." He chuckles.

Y/n: "Oh well, yeah I'm having a picnic with Wally since he said he wanted to hang out."

Howdy: "How nice..." he said in a kind of scared tone.

Howdy: "Anyways, that would be $2.35."

Y/n: "A reason this store is the best."

Howdy: He laughs "There's not many people here so there's no need to make it so expensive."

Y/n: "How come stores are not like thissss."

Howdy: "I don't know." He laughs again.

You then carry the bags and was ready to head out.

Y/n: "See you later Howdy!"

Howdy: "Have a nice day Y/n." He waved.

You then left the store and went back home.
