(Specters pov again yaaayyy)

After the chaos we couldn't find, nor even get a glimpse of that 'Crow'. He had vanished from us and so a search squad was dispatched to find him.

I had returned back to our base and went straight to mentors office because our sensei had told me that he has set a new task for us 'Legend' ranked samurai.
I walked into his office and opened the door slowly. When I opened it I saw that one woman that was with us in that one mission. "Come in Specter" He says; a welcoming tone in his voice. I walked in and I stood before his desk.

"Now you two, I've called you both to tell you that you'll be teaching lower ranks. You'll need to do this to reach 'Masters' rank." He announced. This time he was sounding more seriously than before. I was also very curious about who he had tasked me with.

"Specter, you'll teach Maki and Ari, you'll teach NextGen. In order for you to rank up, you'll have to get them to master their elements" He added; his tone seemed calm but demanding as well. I had an insane mix of feelings I couldn't explain with words about the mission I was assigned to. Maki had already learnt so much from training alone and I was genuinely impressed, however I didn't have clue what else to teach her... which really worried me.

"Alright then, NextGen basically has the same element as me so it'll be easy" Ari replied. She didn't seem so bothered about it or even stressed about it. She's literally better than me even though I'm older than her (he do be 20 doe).

"Okayyy... you're both starting from today-- dismissed" After hearing that we both walked out and I returned to my house.

(NextGens pov again)

I was just sitting in my dormitory and cleaning my room until I heard a knock on the door. I quickly stopped everything I was doing and jolted to the door; I opened it and looked up seeing Ari... "Uhhh...hello?" I say calmly, a wave of confusion sent to my brain.

"Yeah, I'm just letting you know now that Kan Sensei has told me to train you; so from here on out we'll be training at my house..." She replied calmly, with a warm smile that had had formed as she spoke.

I just stood there thinking about how this could go for a moment. I felt both nervous and excited about this whole thing but I had one problem.

"B-but... I haven't even used my element since I discovered it" I mumbled in slight guilt. I had never used it and the way everyone here is trained is through their elements.

"That's fine, I'll make sure you learn everything you possibly can, okay?" She says whilst leaning over until her height matched mine.
"Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you; if you want you can stay at my house until your training is finished- how does that sound?" She asked calmly, her smile growing slightly. All of a sudden so many different thoughts invaded my mind.

What's going on?! What if she's actually just trying to trap me?

I litterly just couldn't count the number of these thoughts within me, it was like someone had left a tap running in my mind. Without second thought I just blurted out "Yeah, sure" in a quiet tone of voice.

Did I do something wrong? What is like actually going on?!

I didn't really have anything of significance to me that I had in my dorm apart from my two metal escrima and my textbooks so I just took those and put them into my bag and left my dorm. I saw Ari waiting outside my room and with a rather quiet tone I muttered. "Let's go then"

She looked at me for a while with her head slightly tilted. Her face had a rather faintly sad tone to it...
"Why are you so quiet? Is some wrong?" She asked calmly, now her sad tone becoming just slightly a tone of worry. My eyes quickly widened as I scrambled for an answer to her question in my mind. However alas, I still couldn't say anything so I just stood there, stiff and cold. "U-uhmmm...It's...because" I mumbled quietly again, still begging for something to say. Until... "I just don't trust anyone anymore after what happened in my past-- but don't remind me of that, please I've already seen enough pain" I replied. As I said this I could feel a sudden surge of heat rise within my veins like a tsunami. I watched her face turn into a reassuring one as a smile was painted onto her and then she looked at me. "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe" She replied with the most warming voice I could ever ask for.

All of a sudden I could feel the heat rise to my face and then... I could feel myself just slightly blushing. "Alright let's just get going" I sighed...

(Specters pov)

Back at my home I was just sitting in my room and I was busy sharpening my katana until I heard a very faint explosion coming from my backyard (Specter owns a mansion so he's pretty much rich asf). I quickly got up, holding my katana firmly as if my life depended on it. When I finally stopped and looked up I saw Maki just training alone in the feild...

Apparently she was struggling with a certain move. I was really happy that she was actually training and also happy that I could at least teach her something. "You know you have to focus your energy in one spot" I shouted loudly, trying to get her attention.

"Thank you! Let me try that real quick" She replied happily before flicking her fingers. As she flicked them a huge gust of wind appeared that blew everything away in the direction that Maki had flicked. "Nearly there" I shouted back. I then walked back over to her and stood by her. "You're meant to do this" I added. Then I flicked my fingers with great force and a massive gust of wind emerged from the direction I flicked. A massive dark mist followed as it almost engulfed the area before fading away. "You're meant to hold the enrgy in your fingers and build it up and then release it from your body." I added once more.

I saw her nodding her head and then she tried the same thing I did abd this time a quick beam of light shot off from the flick destroying a tree that was in front of us, but still far. "Very good, you can use this as a quick way to defend yourself" I then said once more, this time my voice sounding more happy...
