(Specter)
Now I woke up in a room familiar to me... my room.
Maki watched me from the side and I knew because I could hear her breathing in a rather fearful rhythm. I struggled to get up. It was like my body built chains to keep me down on the bed I was resting upon. So I turned in the bed instead to face her.
"Finally!! Your up!" She exclaimed with her voice having a tint of relief after what seemed to be a horrific nightmare.
"What... happened to me?" I asked her. Of course I didn't forget what happened that night. The voices kept a lingering effect on me and I couldn't get it out of me. I could see her in front of me, looking down at me with a rather calmer look than her scared tone from before.
"You went berserk through your element. At least that's what Kan Sensei told me" She replied in a hushed voice.
"Yeah, more like scare ever living fuck outta me mode or whatever he calls it" I replied with a tone that clearly highlights rage. Still from Crow of course.
The thing that lingered the most in my mind was the memories that the darkness showed me. The memories of my clan before the civil war that broke out. Just over a simple element but the element of darkness isn't just a simple element.
It litterly has a mind of its own...
I know that because I spoke to it before and it's all just a mass of manipulation and hate. Pure hate. Like the type of boiling hate that can't be erased no matter how hard you reason with it.
I had successfully kept it contained up until now...
"At least you're still alive" Maki sighed as she sat near me.
"Yeah, at least there's that" I agreed.
I finally managed to get up at least by using the window cell on my left to hold me up.
"If you're gonna get up then you shouldn't do it too quickly" I heard her say.
I stood on my feet anyway and with a half sleepy voice I replied and said
"This has happened to me a thousand times already"
"Wait you've gone berserk before?!"
I let out an annoyed sigh before saying with a slightly louder tone
"Hell no! That was my first time but I've been knocked out a thousand times..."
After hearing that Maki let out a little chuckle and then nodded whilst adding
"Okay" to it.
I got up and after a few moments I managed to walk properly, I know it sounds like I'm taking forever but trust me I know what I was doing. It took me a good five minutes to get back to my senses and as soon as I did I remembered something.
During the berserk duration I had some sort of vision of a mansion from the Sengoku era...
Next to the mansion there was a stone and on it was engraved my clan's name...
'Kenchi'
Yeah my full names Specter Kenchi
The most weirdest part is the fact that my clan is one of the last surviving samurai clans on Terra. The Kenchi bloodshed caused the clan to disintigrate but I don't know how it really happened. Before I could leave my own home though... Xela had stopped me in my tracks. She had her usual, cold and harsh expression that made her almost living nightmare fuel to anyone who came across her in person. The cybernetic arm she had on her right was an arm that was not only intimidating in design but also in function... and she had it on my shoulder...
