(NextGens pov)

I used to wake up back then. Waking up and seeing myself so little compared to everyone else. I hated it. Until Ari gave her hand out and pulled me up with her. I followed her. Like an eager child who went on an extravagant adventure every time they'd learn something new. Every day, she'd teach me to use my element in battle. To make my power rise up like hers, to burst with a light so powerful that it could ignite the darkest corners. And that's why...

I secretly loved this woman.

But my dead ass is too scared to admit it, let alone give her a simple compliment. Every time I saw her beaming smile and her almost, reflective brown hair. I almost felt a heat rise up in my face and it would get worse WHEN SHE GOT CLOSE because oh god, this woman is too hot for her own good.

Alas, the thought of actually admitting anything was left a fantasy in my head. I was both too anxious and embarrassed to even admit it to her. Not only was this woman only a year older than me jarringly attractive but being her student was a good thing. She knew every technique and when she sparred me to test my strength the way she fought was like a fluid, elegant dance. Magnificent. Even the amount of power and strength she had was magnificent. Up until I heard she came from the Senko clan. Oh, and if you haven't noticed already, the Senko Clan is the most powerful clan in the solar system. I don't know how the rest of the clan ended up in different planets, so don't ask me.

"What the hell are you telling me?!" I shouted back in pure awe.

"Didn't you tell with that golden aura? My dimension was destroyed y'know? Im not actually an elemental either, I'm a chimrea human and an elemental dude!" She beamed happily with her voice sounding proud as hell. I just had some wide eyes of just simply. Awe. That's it. I didn't have any other words to describe how I felt but then, she put her hand on my head at that moment which made me heat up for a moment.

"Don't look at me like that..." She added with a little bit of a calmer voice. But she's too close. I dropped the pen in my hand which I was using to write out some of my homework I had there. Her pen just landed on her lap. Aw shit. I swear if she teases me over- "You wanna pick that up?" She asked in almost a whisper. Her eyes looked at me in the most vicious way. This is it. She's gonna know.

"Hey! Hellooooooo~? Terra to NextGen~" (Terra is the name of the planet so its like saying Earth to 'someone') She whispered before letting out a little giggle. I looked up at her, giving her that 'you little idiot' look of mine. At least that's what I call a pout. Which made her laugh more and made me straight up grumble at her.

"So are you gonna pick your pen up from my lap~? Or are you too scared to touch a girls'... thighs?" That makes up for my limit. I quickly averted my gaze, put my head on the desk and hid my face in my arms. All the while feeling my body heat up like there was a radiator in the room at maximum power. I heard her laugh... I don't know if it was a laugh at me or what I was doing so I left that debate behind.

"It's alright, I'm not actually gonna make you pick your pen up from my lap. But it's still only a pen; here" I heard the pen setting on the table and for a moment, I almost flinched because she was so close.

"D-don't you ever do that to me again, idiot!" I grumbled at her, sitting up. I thankfully managed to settle down my massive fucking blush. Which would've given me away but I still felt like I'd already given myself away. If I did, I honestly couldn't care less.
Oh god, don't imagine the worst... 'Sorry NextGen, I already have someone I like is the exact thing that kept repeating itself in my head for a moment. I don't know how or why my mind jumped to such a conclusion but I shook it off while just barley being able to not scrunch my face up into a frown. It all happened just before she looked back at me saying. "Are you good? Cos I saw you... flexing your muscles?" Aw shit.
