After 2 months of hard work and training Maki was pretty good at basic stuff. She knew everything she needed to know about her element and before signing her into the entrance exams for this organisation I wanted to just test her strength out...
We came back into the same place I would always train in.
"Alright, now you're gonna have to go up against me, I just wanna see how well you can take a real fight" I say firmly. I didn't know what she was feeling at the time but I can only think she had a lot of fear and anxiousness within her... she didn't say a word and just nodded at me with her fight stance.
Then after about 3 seconds I rushed in and appeared behind her within a split second, but before I could even get to do lay a hand on her... she disappeared...
(Maki's pov c: )
I was right behind him... normally he would notice; for some reason he couldn't notice me though... and the same thing happened last time when I lighty punched him from behind. Then within a spilt second I punched him with all my force and a bright aura appeared on my arm. As soon as I punched him he flew to the other side of the room, hitting a wall. For a second I stood there frozen... did I actually do that? I asked myself... but then I realised what I did. "S-Specter!! I'm sorry, are you ok?" I asked; a little worried for him...but before I could reach him he disappeared.
"Fool, when you're in a real fight you don't help your opponents! Dark style:Dead slam!" He shouted from behind me. I jumped quickly and rushed away before his fist reached the ground breaking the floor into a crater. I was shocked at his power but also scared he might use something like that on me...
"Light style: Ray gatling!" (Yes that was a one piece reference, relax I'm a weeb 😅) I called out whilst rays of light shot from behind me like speeding bullets. Before they could hit Specter though he lifted his arm and the ground lifted up forming a wall. All of my projectiles hit the wall and through it then, hitting him... I felt really bad for what I did but he just laughed massively.
"Good one!" He shouted happily. I knew all the damage I caused him was hurting him... his shirt was half covered in blood and he had a burn on his shoulder from one of the bullets.
Then he lifted his arms and moved them down creating a massive gust of wind. I was about to go with the wind but I managed to stand my ground and not go with the wind. Then I charged at him once more and lifted one of my arms up, ready to punch him.
My arm was glowing bright yellow, but before I could punch him he disappeared and and appeared behind me, just as I did.
"Remember, some may use the same tricks on you!" He exclaimed whilst now a bunch of floating black needles shot down from behind him I was hit by one and I managed to move before I got hit more. I noticed that I was becoming tired after this needle hit my shoulder.
"That needle has a poison in it, but that poison is very weak. It will make you sick though if you let it move in your body though" He then announced to me...
Alright, doing this is cool but don't poison me! I moved charging towards him and then I jumped as high as I could. He was directly under me so then I kicked him, striking him in the shoulder and making him fall head first into the ground...
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you so badly.." I said quietly... and then I heard his laughter as he sat up.
"I'm fine, I go through this so often..." He replied to me, laughing.
"B-but...you're blessing so much! And I only have a weak poison, I have to help you.." I cried...
"Alright, alright...if you insist on it so much then let me teach you this healing technique; it's pretty easy" He explained...
After he showed me that, I healed his wounds with my magic and then I also took an antidote for that poison (although shes so op she doesn't even need it)
(Specters Pov)
After all that I called up my sensei telling him the news if what just happened...
"Yeah, she's called Maki, and you'll be surprised when you see her sensei."
