(NextGens pov again)

We were running to the Kenchi Mansion now, through a vibrant sakura forest that lit my view of the world up. I never knew that nature could be so beautiful, I always liked the city more- but anyway.

"You finally trained your speed little guy" Ari laughed I caught up to her. She just gave me a mocking smirk and I returned a pouty look before saying.

"Yeah, I did and don't you dare call me small!" I exclaimed back at her. I hated people making fun of my height, it was like a trump card for roasting me (to roast someone means to describe them in a rude way). Like why? Why is that a thing? Well that doesn't matter while your litterly going into an assassin infested place you idiot.

On the way, I kept seeing small ponds in some places with transparent water. I really wanted to catch those fish and eat them; I didn't care if it was raw either I just love fish. I'd do anything for some fish right now but you gotta do this mission and after you go back home you can have some nice fish from that shop nearby.

I nodded to myself in agreement to what I thought at that moment.

We kept running for a while until the lead told us to stop. "We'll rest up here and set a campsite here, the Kenchi Mansion is just a few hundred miles away so we're kinda close" Someone shouted. I was trying to make out who it was but my small height didn't help with such a thing so I ultimately gave up on that and instead I went and got some firewood to start a fire, like many others we're doing. If there's one thing I learnt in that boy scouts dumb shit I did in school, it's to never go too far off from your camp; well I did  just that. I mean who or what could possibly wanna fight an elemental like me? What could possibly go wrong, huh? What a bears gonna fight me, heh I could just set it on fire using Rage Style. I thought, my spirits were getting a little too high though when I saw a few animals that I wasn't comfortable dealing with.

"O-okay... I'm not gonna go near that tree" I whispered. When I looked to the luxurious sakura tree it was placed upon, I could see the abomination. It had eight legs, armored with hair. It's eyes were like black beads engraved into its skull and behind it was a white mess of webs that were shaped up into a ball. Which indicated one thing. It was a mother protecting its children. Reasonable, I just won't bother it then. I thought so bravely. Next, I went to the small pond right nearby the spider and I prepared to catch the fish within it. The clear, blue water looked absolutely elegant here. There were lilypads floating on the water with little pink flowers on top of them. The pink petals scattered in some corners of the sakura trees only added to the vibrant place. I could even hear crickets and different animals; their voices echoing all across the area.

I rolled up my sleeves and reached down into the water to take a fish. It was grey, and had black patterns all across it. When I reached down into the water, it was very lukewarm and the water itself felt smooth.

Just don't fall in cuz you can't swim I told myself. I thankfully caught it in one go and when I looked at it now, it wasn't so grey. It was actually a bright orange, meaning its a goldfish. Not quite a goldfish though when I inspected it further, it was like different type called a carp. "Lets fucking go!! A carp!" I yelled in excitement.

I quickly hit it on the ground to knock it out quick so it wouldn't have to go through any misery. After that, I then held it tight in my hand and ran back to camp.
