After dropping Grace off outside of her common room Regulus went back to his dorm room. Barty was sat on his bed while Evan - as always - went on and on about Charlotte. Charlotte was one of their friends who Evan seemed to have grown to really like.

Regulus found it annoying but didn't say anything about it. They needed at least a some what normal life at Hogwarts if they couldn't get that at home.

Regulus had hidden the yellow, Hufflepuff tie in his robes and some what fixed his appearance before coming back so his two best friends wouldn't be suspicious.

Barty looked away from his book to greet his friend, but stopped after seeing the lipstick stains. "Got yourself a girl to shag, huh?"

"Oh shut it" The younger Black rolled his eyes and taking his shirt off to get ready for bed.

Evan looked up after hearing Barty's remark and noticed the lipstick stains too; however, it was too dark to see what colour it was as the room was being lit by candles only and none of them were on Regulus' side of the room.

Regulus hid the yellow tie he got from Grace and kept it under his bed in a box with a hex on it to prevent anyone from opening it.

Regulus had changed into some trousers and a green jumper for bed. He looked up after getting dressed to see his friends eyeing him suspiciously.

"What?" Regulus asked, annoyed.

"Who's the girl then?" Barty asked.

"No one" He replied. "Besides it's none of your business."

"True" Evan said. "But we're your best friends. You can't not tell us."

"I can choose to not tell you two if you don't want to. Besides you idiots are going to gawk at her whenever you see her if I tell you. And that'll scare her off." Regulus argued with the two.

"Ouch Reg" Barty put his hand on his chest, right where his heart is, and started fake crying while he wiped the fake tears with his thumb.

"Oh fuck off" Regulus replied finally blowing out the candles and going to bed.

The next morning Regulus decided to wear the lipstick stained shirt for the rest of the day. Mainly to piss off James and Sirius but also to see Grace's reaction.

By the time Barty and Evan woke up he was already up and ready, so he decided to read his book in the meantime as he waited. Evan got out off the shower with a towel wrapped around him. When he looked up, however, he immediately regretted it. 

He took in the shirt his best friend was wearing and frowned recognising the lipstick stains. He wondered why Grace didn't tell him that night, but shook it off thinking that maybe it was because she didn't fully forgive him yet.

He decided that he would do everything to make it up to her - even if he had to for their remaining two years at Hogwarts. He decided to send her a rose, a pink one, knowing that she would love it and would understand who sent it.

So, he pushed down his sadness and cast the accio spell for the rose.

"That for Charlotte, Rosier?" Regulus chuckled. "You usually give her a red one, why pink?"

"Not this one." He murmured getting ready for the day after sending his owl to give it to her. "That's because it's not for Charlotte."

"You got another girl that we don't know about, Ev?" Barty asked this time buttoning up his shirt.

"You'll find out soon, mate." Evan replied coming his hair before all three boys got up to go to breakfast. 

When they got there Regulus noticed that Evan kept looking towards the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor table. He didn't think much of it at first until the mail came in, and he saw the rose Evan had in the morning being given to Grace.

What the hell? He thought.

"That rose was for Grace Potter?" Regulus raised a brow.

Evan stopped smiling at Grace once she turned away and turned to look at his best friend. He shrugged replying, "So? What do you care? Not like you're shagging her anything right?"

Evan asked even though he knew the answer. He just wanted to see if he would be lied to by his best friend.

"Oh please, shagging Gracie Potter? No way." Regulus scoffed after a minute of silence and saying the sentence with as much disgust as he could muster.

"Don't lie to me, Reg." Evan said shaking his head. "Not when those lipstick stains tell me otherwise."

"Oh and you know what her lipstick looks like?" Regulus questioned.

"As a matter of fact, I do." Evan nodded slowly smiling when he saw his friend getting agitated. Evan was getting under Regulus' nerves, and that made him happy. 

That's what he gets for shagging Gracie and then denying it as if just the thought of doing that disgusted him, Evan thought. 

"And how exactly do you know?" Regulus asked now angry.

"You're not the only one who's kissed Gracie Potter, Black." Evan rolled his eyes. "Unlike you I had her first."

"You're full of shit, and by the way you lost her first. Don't forget that." Regulus hit Evan upside the head. "Unlike you, Rosier, I won't lose her so easily."

Regulus and Evan both turned away from each other being grumpy. Charlotte, Pandora and Barty started shaking their heads and lightly laughing at their friends already knowing how close Evan and Grace used to be.

They, however, didn't know about Regulus and grace. That was new to them.

"Oh come on boys." Pandora said. "We know that you both are fighting over Grace but Reg come on. Evan did have her first."

Regulus just glared at her. "Oh please, Pandora. Don't give me that shit. He's trying to steal Grace from me when he already has Charlotte."

"Come on man. I'm not trying to 'steal' her. Just...." Evan trailed off teasing the black haired boy next to him even further.

"See" Regulus exclaimed pointing at Evan while looking at the three in front of him with wide eyes.

"Relax Reg." Charlotte rolled her eyes at the dramatic boy. "He's just messing with you. I'm sure he's just trying to get Grace to forgive him."

"See" Evan said mimicking Regulus. "Charlotte gets me."

"Oh sod off." Regulus pushed Evan off the bench and on to the floor which attracted a few eyes.

"Why?" Barty playfully glared before smirking. "Is The Regulus Black jealous?"

Pandora and Charlotte fake gasped putting their hands on their mouths as if they heard the most shocking news ever while Evan pulled himself up on to the bench.

"I think he is" Evan smirked. "Don't you agree Lottie?"

"fuck off" Regulus laughed throwing a piece of fruit bread at Charlotte when she nodded.
