Chapter 7

[Emily's POV]

I walk inside the BAU with Hotch. We are the only ones. Great.
"Listen, I can't stop thinking about it! I've tried to get it off my mind but I can't!" I say turning to him.
"Yeah I know, me to." he says.
I don't say anything, he doesn't either.
"Are you okay?" he asks.
"Uhh" I want to tell him, but I can't.
"What?"
"I'm pregnant." I blurt out.
"What?!"
"I found out 2 days ago, I'm sorry I should've told you I just had to find out how I would tell you."
He stares at the floor and I know what he's thinking.
"I'm not getting rid of the baby!" I say almost yelling.
"This is going to effect your work." he says meeting my eyes.
I look in his eyes and suddenly I feel different. Like I've never felt before. Does he feel like this? We don't say anything for awhile. Thankfully the elevator breaks the silence. Reid rushes out to us.
"JJ's gone" he says.
"What?" I say.
"She's not at her house, the flowers that I gave her last are scattered and the vase is broken and her gun is on the floor and...."
"Reid, Reid!" Hotch says.
"I'm sorry, her badge was gone to."
"Do you have any idea where she would've gone?" I ask.
"No you don't understand, she was kidnapped."
"How do you know this?" Hotch says.
"HOW COULD YOU NOT BELEIVE ME! SHE'S THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!"
"Reid!"
"I'm sorry. I'm just worried and we need to get working on this case."
Reid looks from Hotch to me and back to Hotch, but no one talks. Finally we start to work. Reid and I go to JJ's house to see if any clues were left. We find blood on the bookshelf.
"My poor Jayje." Reid says with tears in his eyes.
"We don't know if that's her blood yet." I say trying to calm him down, but he keeps crying.
