Chapter 25

[Emily's POV]

We board the plane and I call Kate.
"Hey how's Kaitlyn?" I ask.
"She's good. I just put her down."
"Okay well we're coming home."
"Okay I'll be waiting." she says and hangs up.
I sit across from JJ, making sure no one is around me.
"Please tell me." I plead.
"Tell you what?"
"Why did Morgan and Rossi leave?"
"Emily it's not something we should talk about here. I'll tell you when we land."

I follow JJ to her car asking her over and over again what happened but she doesn't answer. Soon she finally turns around and talks to me.
"4 weeks ago we were on a case that involved a church bombing. Rossi and Morgan were trapped inside the church....and never made it out." she says with tears in her eyes. I can't speak. She wipes her tears away as Reid aproaches the car.
"I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow." she says getting in the car. I stand there, not able to move. I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"You ready to go?" Aaron asks.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
"How they died."
"Em I was. It was hard for me to!" I don't want to be mad at him. I'm not. I get it, him and Rossi were really close. I wrap my arms around him and cry.
