Chapter 16

[JJ's POV]

I walk up the driveway and ring the doorbell. She answers, but I can tell she's not happy to see me.
"Emily, I wanted to talk." I say. She opens the door wider and I step inside.
"You want anything to drink?" she asks.
"Uhh, yeah some water please." I answer. She sets down the cup infront of me. She sits down but not next to me.
"So why are you here?" she asks.
"Am I not welcome?" I say. She looks at me and doesn't say anything.
"Fine, you know what, I'll leave." I say getting up, hoping she'll stop me. But she doesn't. I place my hand on the doorknob when she finally stops me.
"Hoping you would." I say. She smiles a little.
"Listen Emily, I hope you know you can tell me anything." I say.
"I know." she answers. We sit in silence.
"Soo?" I say.
"I CAN'T JJ! CAN'T YOU TAKE A HINT?!" she yells.
"Wow." I say.
"I'm sorry, I just swore to keep it a secret."
"WHAT'S SO BAD ABOUT THIS THAT YOU CAN'T TELL ME!"
"Stop."
"EMILY YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND!"
"I said stop!"
"EMILY!"
"BECAUSE HOTCH IS THE FATHER!" Emily blurts out. I stand there stunned.
"Happy?!" she says. I decide to leave knowing that there is nothing else to talk about.
