Chapter 10

[JJ's POV]

I see Emily run up and peer through the window. She yells something but it's muffled. The door opens and cool air flows into the car. I've been stuck in here for 3 days with no food or water and stuck in heat!
"Water!" I say.
Emily grabs a water jug and feeds it to me. The water flows through my body, feels good. Hotch undoes the seatbelt and I see Reid run out of the house.
"JJ!" he yells.
All of the sudden a gun shot goes off, then another. I see Reid fall to the ground.
"Spencer!" I yell.
I wriggle free and run towards Reid.
"Oh my!" I say with tears running to my eyes.
"JJ!" Emily yells. I look at Will with the gun and he pulls the trigger.

I wake up in the emergency room with Emily and Hotch standing outside of my room talking. Emily sees me and walks in.
"Hey!" she says.
"Where's Reid?!" I say.
"In surgery." Hotch says calmly.
"Where'd he get shot?"
"Neck" Emily answers.
"What?!" I say sitting up, pain surges through me. Emily pushes me to lay down, and I do.
"It's okay, he will live!" she says excited. I feel relieved. I close my eyes and soon fall asleep.
