Comeback season is always an exciting time for idols and fans, especially at the start of summer. JYP always has the idols work extra hard to put out as many summer hits as possible, and while that may seem exciting, it can be a lot for the idols to handle.

Stray kids had been working hard for months on their new album and music videos, ready to release them at the beginning of June to kick off stays summer with a bang. While they had fun working on the album, it was always quite exhausting regardless of how long it took.

The boys were already feeling the pressure and that certainly didn't go away when their manager called for Jisung to have a private meeting.

He was anxious as he entered the conference room, his hands were shaky as his brain came up with a million different reasons he could be in trouble. Was he involved in another scandal? Were fans unhappy with his performances? Was more stuff from his past being brought up?

He sat in the chair resisting the urge to bit on his nails as the manager sat down on the opposite side of him.

"so Jisung-ah, first of all thank you for coming so quickly."

Jisung bowed his head.

"I'm sure you were shocked to be called on your own." The man chuckled.

Jisung gave a nervous smile and sat upright crossing his legs and folding his hands over his knee.

"um, sir, am I in some kind of trouble?"

The man started laughing.

"no! no of course not! Goodness were you thinking that the whole morning?"

Jisung gave a sheepish nod.

"aish, Jisung-ah you aren't in any trouble so relax a bit hm?"

Jisung smiled and relaxed in his chair feeling a deep relieved breath exit his mouth.

"the reason I called you is because the boss and our team have been talking for a while and we would like for you to have a solo mini album."

Jisung's eyes went wide with shock.

"wait, really?"

"yes! JYP has been very impressed with you recently and he has suggested you have a solo to showcase your talents."

"wow..i...I don't know what to say." Jisung chuckled.

"we want it to be your own style so it differs from the rest of stray kids music, we're hoping to release it by the middle of summer."

"the middle of summer? Forgive me sir but, isn't that a little short notice?"

"well with your other schedules we would need to work on this project rather quickly for it to work. If you don't think you can handle it I suppose we can scrap it-

"no! no no i...I wanna do it, of course I want to do it! I...I can handle it sir, no problem."

The man smiled and nodded.

"that's what I like to hear Jisung-ah, now we will start work tomorrow morning, make sure you rest up tonight."

Jisung bowed his head.

"thank you sir, I won't let you or JYP down."

"we know Jisung-ah."

Jisung was dismissed and he excitedly raced home to tell the others.
