It was no secret that bang chan overworked himself, everyone knew that he stayed up till all hours of the night working on his music and organizing everything for the group.

Ever since the pandemic started however, bang chan noticed that his mental health had begun to deteriorate.

After working so hard to please stay, after doing everything to produce music and create albums and set up meetings, he felt like it was all going to waste. He hadn't seen stay in almost two years now, not allowed to have any in person concerts, not allowed to travel anywhere.

He started to worry, he started to worry that stay would get tired of waiting, that stay would unstan them, leave them in the dark.

After everything they went through to debut, chan needed this group to last, he needed stray kids to stay together forever, or he would lose his mind.

They had a concert coming up, a virtual one, but still they prepared like crazy for it.

A few hours before their concert, minho received an e-mail from the company that ruined the evening.

"it says Lee Minho, we regret to inform you that you have been exposed to the covid 19 virus and must remain quarantined until you show a negative covid result."

He read from his phone an annoyed and disappointed tone in his voice.

"are you serious hyung?" jisung said.

"ugh, so now I can't go to the concert..."

"I'm so sorry minho-ah, that sucks." Changbin said rubbing minho's shoulder.

"aish well I guess it's better than the risk of getting everyone sick...I'll head to the urgent care now; I know the wait is gonna be long."

"okay minho, be safe please, wear your hoodie and mask, I don't like when you kids go out on your own." Chan said.

"I know hyung, don't worry I'll be safe."

"we're sorry minho...aish this pandemic just ruins everything..." hyunjin sighed.

"it's alright guys, just go show stay a good show okay?"

"we will."

After that minho went to the urgent care center while the boys headed to the venue for their concert.

They took a few hours to get ready and get all their equipment synced and by 7 PM were ready to start the concert.

They stood on the stage and waited to see the numbers of viewers appear on the screen, so they knew when to begin the concert.

After about ten minutes they realized that the number of viewers hadn't changed. It remained at 0.

They looked around in confusion wondering where stay were.

"um, did we post the wrong time on Instagram?" felix asked.

"no, it says 7 PM lix." Changbin said showing him the post.

"where are they? Something must be wrong." i.n said looking around at the empty monitors.

Chan stared at the screen with wide worried eyes, his worst fear was coming true. Stay weren't coming, they were tired of waiting for stray kids, they were tired of supporting them virtually.
