Part Two: Beach House
The car comes to a stop, causing me to wake up. I nudge Chris and Sebastian, waking them up. The five of us look out the window, at a beautiful two-story beach house. I furrow my brows and look at Chris and Sebastian. The two of them looked just as confused as me.
"I thought we were getting a hotel." Chris said, his voice raspy from sleep.
"I rented a beach house for the week. I wanted to surprise all of you." Tom says, his accent hushed.
"We could've split it." I say.
"No, I wanted to do this. I hate hotel rooms anyways." Tom confesses.
"Well thank you, buddy." Chris says, sitting up and patting Tom on his chest, "Let's go check it out."
Tom and Anthony are the first to get out of the car. Sebastian and Chris follow shortly after them. The four men stand up and stretch. All of their bones popping as they reach their arms up to the night sky. Chris rounds the car and stands next to Sebastian on the left side of the car. Their shirts come up with each stretch. My eyes are pulled to their abs peeking out of their shirts. Both of them with a thick trail of hair from their belly button down to their pants. I bite my lip as I study the two.
"You gonna get out or just stare at them two all night?"
I jump at Anthony's voice. I look to my right, seeing him standing at the open car door.
"I wasn't staring."
"You were."
"Shut up, Mackie." I say, getting out of the car and slapping his arm. "You're an ass."
"Get your stuff, Cupcake. We have a party to throw."
I close the car door and grab my bags. I walked into the beach house, my mouth falling open. As if the outside wasn't beautiful, the interior is stunning. All white with black accents. The high ceilings make the place feel much more spaceouse. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room overlooking the infinity pool on the back of the house. Trees and bushes covered the backyard for privacy.
"A beauty isn't she?" Tom says, walking beside me.
"Where did you find this place?"
"I did some research. There's six rooms, so pick whichever one you want. I think one of them has a jacuzzi tub. If I were you, I'd claim that one before Anthony does."
"Right." I say, "Which room?"
"Follow me."
I follow behind Tom as he leads me up the dark wood stairs. My hand on the top of the glass railing, lightly grazing the black wood that outlines the glass. This place was beautiful, and completely out of my price range. We pass by four different rooms before he turns into the room we were on our search for.
"This is it."
My eyes fall upon the king size bed. A white comforter perfectly fitted onto the bed. The pillows tastefully displayed. Floor to ceiling windows take up one side of the room creating access to the perfect view of the backyard and lights of the city. It's breathtaking.
"Thank you." I say to Tom.
He gives me a nod before turning on his heel and walking down the hall. I walk around the room, taking in the views and decoration that filled the empty spaces.
"Knock knock." A familiar voice echoes, coming for the door.
"Hey, Sebastian."
"Damn, you got the best room in the house." He says, looking around.
