I wrote and recorded three songs. All self impowering and motivational. I'm sitting in front of the controls and listening back to the tracks. A small smile is on my face as my head slightly bobs along. I make a few tweaks but overall, it sounds amazing.
"I love it!" I heard Gustavo's yell.
Snapping my head to the left, I see Gustavo and Kelly. Jumping up with a huge smile, I hold myself back to keep from tackling them in a hug. I turn down the volume and fold my hands behind my back.
"What are you wearing?" Gustavo asked.
"You guys are back?" I excitedly ask ignoring his question.
"Tour's over. Now we can focus on your solo career and more albums for the dogs" Gustavo said.
"Big Time Rush is back?!" I am bouncing off the floor.
"Yup, just dropped them off at the Palm Woods" Kelly smiles.
"Let's get you back in the recording booth and practice this song I wrote for-" Gustavo started saying.
I run out halfway through what he was saying. What? I held it in as long as I could. I ran right out the building, into a car with a driver, and raced back to the Palm Woods.
I can't believe they are finally back! It felt like years have gone by without them here. I love Jo and Camille, but the guys are unpredictable and random which is unlimited funny moments.
I thank the driver and run into the Palm Woods. First thing I see is the back of a certain boy in a helmet. No one else here wears a helmet, it has to be Carlos. Plus, the guys are in front of him. None of them had seen me yet.
Squealing loudly, I run and jump on Carlos's back. I heard him scream as we fell to the ground. I roll off of him and sit up, still on the ground. He sits up as well with a terrified face until he saw my face. Then he looked like a kid that just got in front of the line of a rollercoaster.
"LIN!" he yells and tackles me in a hug.
Laughing loudly, my arms automatically wrap around his neck. Somehow, he lifted us both off the ground as we hugged. Pulling away, I playfully punch his shoulder.
"I missed you" I smile wide.
"What about us?" James asked.
"Please don't tackle us" Logan flinches.
I laugh and pull all three into a hug. Just seeing their goofy faces brightens my mood by a million degrees. Each of their individual scents honestly makes the Palm Woods feel like home again. Why? No idea.
"Now" I jerk away from them and give a serious expression "Where's Katie?"
"Upstairs" they all say.
"See you in a bit" I tap Kendall and Logan's shoulders.
Running off again, I go straight to apartment 2J. I do a four-beat rhythm knock and rock on my feet with my hands cupped behind my back. I had to bite down on my bottom lip to keep from smiling so big. When Mrs. Knight opened the door; I didn't give her a chance to talk and hugged her.
Though our encounters were brief; she still feels like a mother figure to me.
"I missed you too, sweetheart" she laughs.
I pull away with a sheepish smile.
"Sorry, I just missed you guys so much" I say.
"Lin!" I heard Katie before I saw her.
Next thing I know, she is glued to my waist and arms squeezing the life out of me. I laugh and immediately hug her back.
"I missed you, kid" I say.
