"Did you see me? I'm on my way to being famous!" Dave smiles wide.
"Yes! That was so cool" I smile back.
Last night I shut down. Didn't talk, eat, or sleep really. It's silly I let my parent's actions take such a toll on me, but it does. I haven't seen them in what felt like years.
"I'm going to be working every day for a while. Long days and longer nights" he smirked at the end.
"Gross" I fake gag.
"Whatever, I got to head out" he laughs.
"See you tonight!" I call out to him.
Sitting on the countertop still in my pajamas, I look around the empty apartment. Being alone is second nature by now but I hate how quiet it is. I sigh and hop off the counter. Might as well go explore, right?
After a shower, I walk out my apartment. I tighten my ponytail while heading to the elevator. A certain little troublemaker jumps out of nowhere blocking my path. Off instincts I squeal and jumped back with a hand on my heart.
"I'm bored" she complained.
The initial heart attack vanishes. A mischievous smirk paints my face. I have a few ideas how to cure this deadly symptom.
"I think I have something that can help with that" I sweetly say.
"What do you have in mind?" she matches my smirk.

Katie and I quietly shush each other as we hide in the bushes. Our first victim falls right into our trap. Ironic how it's James.
Lip Balm and free sample catches his attention right away. The plan runs smoothly as he puts on the special lip balm from the stand. In about 10 minutes the elixir will turn his lips temporarily green.
Katie grabs my wrist and pulls me to our next location. We hide behind magazines and peak over them to see her brother Kendall walking towards the next trap. Katie gave me the run-down of these four childish boys.
Kendall the calm one, James the pretty one, Logan the smart one, and Carlos the goofy one. She warned me this is going to start a prank war. I assured her we will certainly win.
Once Kendall gets close to the trap, I glance at Katie. The face of anticipation, the smile of joy, and that glint in her eyes makes me smile. That is not the face of someone who's bored.
Shifting my attention back at Kendall, I watch him step on the piece of paper that is hiding a button. It releases the fart spray. He gags, yells, and doubles over in agony. It was all over the top and so funny to watch. Katie and I struggle to hide our laughs.
"It's in my eyes! Uugg, I can taste it!" he screams before running past us.
"Let's go" Katie said.
She pulled me by the hand to watch the next scene unfold. We watch as Logan happily hums while walking through the park. I wonder if he knows about the glue we put in his body spray. He definitely didn't know about the trap he set off. A giant fan blows harsh winds and leaves at him. His shrieks and shouts made us fall to our knees in laughter.
We run away, still giggling, to see what happens to Carlos. Hiding behind a couple bushes we peak over to gain sight on our target. That is until my phone started ringing. Quickly, we duck behind the bushes.
"Hurry up, do something" Katie whisper shouts.
"I am" I whisper back.
Without checking the caller ID, I answer.
