I can feel my eyes droop as I keep writing. Almost done, we are almost done. Gustavo kept breathing down our necks which wasn't helping. Hearing the door open and the guys come in didn't break my concentration.

When I heard Kendall and James's voice, I spin around. Logan had already grabbed Carlos to write something down. As I grabbed Kendall first and drag him to his science project.

"Pour this is that" I hand him bleach in a beaker.

I grab James and tell him what to write.

"What-" he tried talking.

I grab him by the shirt and pull him closer to me. My eyes are wide to keep them from shutting. My jaw is clenched, and I can feel my lip and nose twitching.

"Just write" I growl and let go.

"Okay" he sang.

I rub my forehead and fall face first into the couch. Another sleepless night just adds to this overwhelming exhaustion. Since the guys left, things with Dave have been weird and yuck. After the performance he got mad I wasn't at the apartment. He wasn't even there that night!

At first, we'd just argue over every little thing. Then, it turned into completely ignoring each other. It felt like being back home. I hate that feeling, so I'd be at the studio a lot. For 4 weeks I haven't been sleeping well. It is sucking the life out of me.

But being face first in this couch is the most relaxed I've felt in forever. It put me right to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~
I wake up when a baby elephant squashed me. My eyes shot open, but all I see is nothing. Complete pitch-black darkness. My body is being flattened like a pancake and my lungs can't expand for air. With all my strength, I roll and try to knock this elephant off of me. It worked.
The weight shifted and rolled off of me with a thud. Pushing half of my body up, I gasp with wide eyes and desperation for air. Turning my head to the left, I look down and see Logan on the floor.
"You're still here?" Kendall asked.
"Yeah... What's up with him?" I ask.
"He got a C+" James said casually.
"Oh" I say.
I get out of the yoga position I was in and sit normally on the couch. Sleep is very much still in my eyes as I try to rub it out. A yawn escapes from my lips before they rest in a pouty form. While I was doing this, the guys took a sit on the couch and started up a game of Gore Buster 2000.
I slowly flutter my eyes as an attempt to get rid of the sleepiness. That just made another yawn appear. This time it was stronger than the last one. My mouth stretched open like a snake trying to eat something huge. If my thoughts were there; I'd think it'd get stuck like that.
"Why are you always so tired?" Carlos asked.
I'm still yawning so I had to lazily put up a finger. A few seconds passed and I am still yawning, so I slowly nod my head. As if saying, I'll be right with you, one second. Or any minute now. When I finally stop, I feel like there is something I'm supposed to be doing.
I forgot Carlos asked me a question until I glance at him. Now, all three are looking at me. By now, I have no memory of what the question is, only that one of them asked me something. So, I improvise.
"No?" I shrug with an uncertain face.
"What?" Kendall asked confused.
"Sorry, I have no idea who asked what" I admit.
"Have you slept at all?" James asked.
"Sleep? Yeah, I just woke up" I joke.
"Lin, you have bags under your eyes" Kendall deadpanned.
I roll my eyes and run a hand through my hair. I don't know what to say. Sleep? Yeah, no, I haven't gotten more than 4 hours a night if I'm lucky. Or, yeah man, I sleep some nights and others I'm up for an entire 24 hours. Or even, yeah, I binge sleep for an entire day because sleep doesn't like me and tries to run away until BAM, it slaps me right in the face.
"It's makeup, I'm not good at taking off my mascara" I end up saying.
"Mascara?" Carlos says suspiciously then completely confused "What is mascara?"
"Makeup" I try not to smile at how funny that was.
Someone tried to say something else, but I cut them off with my dramatic stretching noises. I kept doing that until they finally gave up. Smirking in victory, I get up carefully. Logan is still on the floor with a frozen face. I feel bad, Logan Mitchell doesn't get anything lower than an A. Poor guy.
I stretch one more time, this time quietly, and end it with a head scratch.
"Is that my shirt?" Carlos randomly asked.
Again, all eyes on me now. With furrowed brows, I look down confused. I didn't really give the shirt a glance, I just threw it on.
"Oh, yeah, sorry. I needed to borrow a shirt and Gustavo gave me yours instead of Logan's" I say.
"It's fine, but it's dirty" he said.
I pick up the collar and sniff it. Indeed, it has a scent of cologne, corndogs and a hint of sweat. Oddly enough, it works well together. Maybe I'm just a slob and don't mind it. Plus, I only hung around boys growing up so that has to have something to do with it. Dave's older brother, Dylan, is the king of slobs and no doubt taught me well.
"Eh, clean enough" I shrug "Don't worry, I'll bring it back washed"
"We can get you a clean shirt for now" James said a bit grossed out.
"Too lazy, plus, I got things to do" I say picking up Jo's dress.
"You're running errands in a dirty shirt?" Kendall asked, also grossed out.
I shrug and toss Jo's dress over my shoulder.
"Is that Jo's dress?" Kendall asked with furrowed brows.
"Yeah, borrowed it for a date" I roll my eyes.
"A date?" all four asked.
Somehow, that brought Logan back from the dead. He rose up like a zombie and had on the exact same face as the rest. Complete and utter shock with a hint of suspicion. Rolling my eyes, I cross my arms and lean on one leg.
"Yes, a dumb date that didn't even happen because I got stood up. You know everything now, no questions on the subject" I say.
"Who-" Kendall tried asking.
"Zzpp" I zip my lips.
"But-" Carlos tried saying.
"Tssk, tssk, tsk" I shake my head.
"Just-" James tried talking.
"Bllmp" I tilt my head with my middle finger, pointer finger and thumb pinched together.
"Can we-" Logan tried talking.
"Mmmpp" I push out my face a bit.
"Fine" they all grumble.
"Thank you, and goodnight" I turn around.
