Hey everyone, this is a ship i'm not too familiar with but it's cute so enjoy!

It'd been 3 days since Rumi had left on an urgent trip to another country to provide aid in a time of need. That's what you get when you're dating a hero. They have to go on long trips for long periods of time.

As much as Fuyumi liked to say she was an independent women with no need for anyone but herself, she needed Usagiyama. It was boring without the rabbit hero and boredom was scary.

Todoroki had attempted to call Mirko, but each time the call went straight to voicemail, not a great sign when you're off fighting villains.

She had just begun debating on whether to call again when a knock on her door pulled her from her thoughts. "Come in," she called and Natsuo stepped in.

"Sorry if i'm bothering you, but I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch with me? I'm off work for a while and don't want to eat by myself," he said.

Beaming the older girl replied, "Of course!"

"You sure? I don't want to force you to leave if you have more important things to do," he asked hesitantly.

"No no, I need a break anyway."

After slipping on a pair of shoes, Fuyumi and Natsuo left, walking into town, talking about life and Natsuo's studies.

They got lunch at a local soba restaurant, each getting their usual dish.

Afterwards, they walked around more until the sun began to retreat into the horizon before making their way home.

When they got back to the Todoroki residence, the door opened easily and Fuyumi frowned, knowing she locked it before they'd left. She suspiciously stepped inside, Natsuo behind her, unbothered. Inside, everything seemed normal, all the lights were off and all the objects were untouched.

Out of nowhere, someone jumped out of the shadows, yelling surprise!

Stepping back, Fuyumi fumbled for the light switch, turning it on to reveal Rumi, in casual clothes grinning.

The shock faded quickly and Fuyumi tackled the other into a hug, "I didn't think you'd be back this early," before pushing her to arms length, looking for any wounds, "I was worried when you weren't answering my calls."

"Sorry love," the rabbit hero said, "I wanted to surprise you."

Natsuo cleared his throat, "I'm just gonna go to my room."

Before he could leave, the older sibling stopped him, "You knew about this didn't you? Is that why you wanted to get me out of the house?"

Nodding, the other replied, "Mirko text me this morning, telling me to distract you while she broke into the house to surprise you."

Rumi feint a gasp, "I didn't break into the house, I had a key."

"Same thing," he said, with his back turned to the two, retreating to his room.

Chuckling, Fuyumi pulled her girlfriend into a kiss.

Sorry this was a short, not very good story, I kinda had to throw this together last minute since I'm out of my drafts and need to find a day to write more chapters for the rest of the month, if that makes sense. Anyway, let me know what you're looking forward to this summer!
