As I walk into the bull pin for the start of a new day I sat down at my dask I was the only one in at the moment. I always get in early sometimes I'm here before Platt I mean it's peace and quiet I always make a pot of coffee when I get in first. I grabbed my mug and sat down finishing my paperwork when I here foot steps coming up the stairs I see the top of my dad's head so I grabbed the paperwork and held it out for him "god son your here early what time did you get in" I looked at my watch to see it's almost 6am "probably 4.30 I don't know I didn't look at the time I grabbed doughnuts and if you want good hot coffee I just made a pot" with that he run to get his coffee "so son how are things going between you and Jay" "I don't know what you are talking about dad" "I mean you hate him" "I hate him because I had feelings for him but he is hooking up with Erin so I hate him" "so you get in early do your paperwork and if there's no case you'll leave early" "most likely" "well your brother is getting out today" "yes I know I can't wait to give him a hug without being told that's long enough" "so are we still going to play the game were no one knows you're my son" "I don't care if people know you are my dad because i say hey uncle Alvin so no I don't care" with that whole talk it's almost 7am so people are going to start showing up one of the first people are Erin and Jay arms around each other god they make me sick that's when I notice someone sitting on my desk I look up to see Antonio smiling down at me "hey beautiful" "why hello to you to" "so are you going to eat all these doughnuts by yourself or can I" "help yourself are you still on for the gym tonight or not" "I thought you might not feel like it after last night" he gave me a wink and walked away that's when Erin come over to me "what was that all about" "well I have doughnuts and he wanted some so" "well do I get a doughnut or are they for you and your lover" "you know what Erin I don't have to put up with your bull shit no more because all I care about is that my brother is getting out today and I get to be alone at nights because let's just face the music Erin you can't spend one night alone with out a man" "enough Max that is no way to speak to Erin like that" "you know what you're right I quit" "what max what did you just say" "I said I quit because of the constant bull shit Erin puts me throw everyday so I quit because of her. Here's my badge and my gun hope you all like shit coffee and no free food. So I'll be seeing y'all around" with that I walk down the stairs and out the door to my car that's when I see uncle Alvin "whoa Max what's wrong" "Erin started to be a bitch towards me and I did as I was taught by you to stand up for myself. Then dad had to come to Erins rescue and so I quited my job" "Max I'm so sorry that because of Erin you quited your job so what are you going to do know" "well you can take these doughnuts and I'll head home and plan my next move I guess" "ok kid just don't be a stranger you hear" I give him one last hug before hoping into my car by time I pulled up my driveway I remember my stuff was still at the district so I rang Antonio "hey Max how are you" "are you alone " "yup everyone left what's up" "ok so I need you to clear my desk and locker out for me and put it behind Trudy's desk" "ok Max I have just finished with your desk and I looked in your locker and I see a photo of me and you" "find you caught me caring about you so what" "well well well if it was my lucky day that Max voight cares about something more than his family" "I'm right outside of the district if you could just bring me my stuff please" "on my way" with that the line went dead. I got out of my truck when Jay shows up with my things "well doesn't my day just keep on getting better" "why did you say those things about Erin to do Max" "whole fuck you are finely talking to me maybe I'll win a big payday" "come on Max Erin is all was  like that so why today and why quite your job" "first off today I had enough of Erin's bull shit and dad staying up for her even other his own flesh and blood" "wait dad you mean Hank right" "no Jay I mean dad my full name is Max voight Hank voights son and Justin voight is my fucking brother" "ok so what's going on between you and Antonio" "why does everyone think that there's something going on between me and Antonio we hit the gym together alot we have meals together every Friday night so there's nothing going on between us" "ok sorry Max" "besides my heart beats for some one else" "who Max" "doesn't matter he doesn't notice me maybe I'll in list again" "what you in listed before" "yup rangers" I pulled out a photo from the back of my phone case and hand it to Jay so he can have a look when he realized that we served together I  took the photo and hopped in my truck and started to leave when I see dad's car pull in but I keep driving to my house.

Hank's POV
Later that night

I pulled up Max's drive way to see his car and truck parked up. I knocked on his door that's when I see him getting ready to leave "you ready to go get your brother I see" he doesn't answer me just pulls his door shut and locks it.

On the way we didn't talk so I try and break the ice "so son your job is still here if you want it" "no thanks I'm better off where I am at the moment" "ohh so you got yourself a new job" "yup FBI" "that's Erin's dream job how did you get it" "well unlike Erin I got shit done and they saw that and heard how I left and wanted me to work for them" with that we drove in quiet not talking a single word. Once we got to the prison Justin ran straight up to his brother giving him a big hug then Justin tride to give me a hug but his brother was holding onto him like his life depend on it when Max finally let go Justin moved over to me and gave me a hug. On the drive back Justin did most of the talking will max sat in the back in the dark not paying attention to a single word Justin was saying. When I pulled up Max's drive way he jumped out and gave his brother a hug before walking inside "ok dad what's going on with Max he's never like this so what's going on" "Erin started with him so he fought back" "finally he stood up for himself it was about time to" what do you mean" "Erin would pick on Max a lot to the point Max started to cut himself and if you stood up for her he cut himself on the other arm. Max has got scars from Erin dad on his back, his waist, on his thigh dad that's how bad it got" "I I I didn't know why didn't you tell me about this son why" "because Erin couldn't do wrong in your eyes dad" with that we drove to my house in quiet.

Max's POV

After a long day at work for the FBI I made my way to Molly's for a drink I walk up to Gabby and order a shot of whiskey and a cold strong beer with that I paid had my shot and sat in the back with my beer in my hands just slowly drinking away "hey beautiful" I laughed a little when I heare the voice "why hello" "ok so you give Antonio a different answer everytime but all I get is just a hello" "well Jay why don't you ask Erin to call you something and let me have my beer in peace and quiet" "come on Max how long have we known each other for now" "three years working together yesterday and guess what Jay" "what's that" "today is my fucking birthday" "what today" "and no one remembered it so thanks for the talk I'll see you around I guess"
