Max's POV
I had just woken up in a hospital room "god damnit" I lay back down with my head on the pillow "good your awake" I look at Will "we need to have a little chat about you walking out like you did two weeks ago" I look at Will standing beside my bed "first off it's my body, second I didn't want to go to the hospital, third I didn't give you any right what so ever to work on my body" "a ambulance was called and second you were out to it and your dad said" I sat up in bed "I don't care what he said read my god damn chart it states that no one can give you permission to work on my body under no circumstances" Will looked at the chart "now I have the right to leave and not come back here or be made to stay" "I think if you care for Jay you should stay" I closed my eyes thinking about Jay
The thought of losing him hurt me so bad I had tries in my eyes. Will must have noticed me crying so he was trying to comfort me. When he saw it wasn't working me left the room. I had roll on to my side and started hugging my pillow. That's when someone walked into my room and started rubbing my side "hey Max it's me" I look to see Jay sitting on my bed. I had moved over so he could lay down next to me "I'm sorry for running away it's just because of all the bad things that have happened in hospitals for me" "hey hey no need to explain to me just know I'm here for you and where did you go after you left" I curled up into his side "dad's" "so after you coming to my place because you didn't want him to know then to go to his" Jay had gotten up off of the bad and started walking around the room "make up your fucking mind Max and stop playing with me" he had walked out of the room and I could feel my heart break.
Later that day
Adam, Kim, Sean, Trudy, dad and Kevin all came to check up on me. I wasn't great company to be around right now so they all left quick probably happy to be away from me. I was sitting in the arm chair by the window looking at Chicago "it never gets old does it" I look at the nurse the had brought my food to me "it's better than being in a war or being shot again" I let out a small laugh "I'm sorry to ask but are you Max voight the singer" I look at the nurse "what would you like me to sign" she handed me her guitar and a pen "you come prepared" "it's not every day we get some one famous in here and besides it's for my son Justin" I smiled and handed the guitar back "well I would be more than happy to meet this son of yours" "omg are you for real I'll call him right now" I laughed she looked at me "I mean in person I could play a couple of songs for him on his guitar." She lit up like a Christmas tree "thank you so much"
Night time
I was waiting for this tea to come but good things take time I guess. There was a knock at the door "sorry we are late my son was so nervous to meet you" "not a problem" the kid walked in "hey Justin how old are you" "turned 16 last week" I nodded my head. He had handed me his guitar
You know I like my chicken fried
A cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right
And the radio u-up
Well I was raised up beneath the shade of a Georgia pine
And that's home you know
Sweet tea pecan pie and homemade wine
Where the peaches grow
And my house it's not much to talk about
But it's filled with love that's grown in southern ground
And a little bit of chicken fried
Cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right
And the radio up
Well I've seen the sunrise
See the love in my man's eyes
Feel the touch of a precious child
And know a brother's love
Well it's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most
Not where you live or what you drive or the price tag on your clothes
There's no dollar sign on a peace of mind this I've come to know
So if you agree have a drink with me
Raise your glasses for a toast
To a little bit of chicken fried
A cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right
And the radio up
Well I've seen the sunrise
See the love in my man's eyes
Feel the touch of a precious child
And know a brother's ther's love
I thank God for my life
And for the stars and stripes
May freedom forever fly, let it ring
Salute the ones who died
The ones that give their lives so we don't have to sacrifice
All the things we love
Like our chicken fried
Cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right
And the radio u-up
Well I've seen the sunrise
See the love in my man's eyes
Feel the touch of a precious child
And know a brother's ther's love
Get a little chicken fried
Cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right
And the radio u-up
Well I've seen the sunrise
See the love in my man's eyes
Feel the touch of a precious child
And know a brother's ther's love"You are so good Max" I give him a nod "you is your man" I look at the boy "we broke up awhile ago he was cheating on me" "oh I'm sorry for bringing it up it must hurt" "not at all besides I feel good as hell"
I do my hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Woo child, tired of the bullshit
Go on dust your shoulders off, keep it moving
Yes Lord, tryna get some new shit
In there, swimwear, going to the pool shit
Come now, come dry your eyes
You know you a star, you can touch the sky
I know that it's hard but you have to try
If you need advice, let me simplify
If he don't love you anymore
Just walk your fine ass out the door
I do my hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Feeling good as hell
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Woo girl, need to kick off your shoes
Got to take a deep breath, time to focus on you
All the big fights, long nights that you been through
I got a bottle of Tequila I been saving for you
Boss up and change your life
You can have it all, no sacrifice
I know he did you wrong, we can make it right
So go and let it all hang out tonight
'Cause he don't love you anymore
So walk your fine ass out the door
And do your hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Listen, if he don't love you anymore
Then walk your fine ass out the door
And do your hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'
Feeling good as hell
Feeling good as hell
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell"Thank you Max for this it was one in a lifetime for me" I give him a nod. He and his mum walked out of my room so I climbed up to bed and went to sleep.
