No one's pov

It had been a couple of years now Justin had died so did Alvin and Erin left Chicago. Jason had taken a spot at the district helping where he can be missed the days where he was a performer on stage but he left that life behind him

Max's POV

Finishing packing up the case we worked on today with my ear pods in listening to Adam Lambert it had been a hard case today. It involved kids from the ages of 5 to 15  I tried to help one of the kids but the kid didn't make it to med on time I had blamed myself for this kid's death I picked up the box and took it to a room with all the case's we worked on that's when my music cut out and my ring tone started playing I pulled out my phone to see Casey was calling me "hey Casey what's up" "hey so listen Herman found out that you sing and he wants you to sing he haa a band lined up for tonight but the singer fell ill so could you do it" "look Matty I don't sing anymore" "please babe do it for me" "tell Herman I'm on my way bye babes" with that I hanged up I walked out of the room and in to dad's office "hey dad do you think I could leave early" he looked up from his work" "why do you need to leave early" I closed the door to his office "I'm singing tonight and I have to go and get ready for the show at Molly's" "I thought you gave up music all together" "I did but I'm doing one show that's it no more I just am doing this for Herman and myself" "ok go have fun I'll try to be there tonight " I gave him a hug before leaving the district

Later that night

Alone in the dark, hole in my heart, turn on the radio
And the words fall out, but they got no place to go
Wasted on you, high on the fumes
Know I should let you go
But the world won't stop
And all I got is your ghost, oh
Oh
Another day, another lonely night
I would do anything to have you by my side
Another day, another lonely night
Don't wanna throw away another lonely life
No time to sleep, all that I see, are old memories of you
Yeah I try my best, but there's no one left for me to lose
Tear in my eye, I drive through the night, as far I can from you
And I don't give a f*** if the sun comes up, yeah
It's just another
Another day, another lonely night
I would do anything to have you by my side
Another day, another lonely night
Don't wanna throw away another lonely life
No I don't give a f*** if the sun comes up, yeah
It's just another
Another day, another lonely night
I would do anything to have you by my side
Another day, another lonely night
Don't wanna throw away another lonely life

After finishing another lonely night I looked up to the crowd of people clapping

"Who is in love are you in love I'm not in love so before the night can somebody do me a favor please yeah can you find me somebody to fucking love"

After singing somebody to love I walked off stage into the crowd to ask for some songs I got

. Another love
.hell right
. burning hearts
.if I didn't love you
.dream on
. rumor
.play it again
. fancy like
. Against all odds
. bring it on back
. trouble maker
. Your boyfriend
. Rivers deep

When I finish all the songs it was almost time "ok you all have been fun tonight for one night only with me singing for yous so what song will be the ending song tonight should we do we will rock you then we are the champions what do you say" I wait for the crowd to respond "but before I finish off the night on a good high point I am going to sing mad about the boy Adam Lamberts version ok cool" while I was singing I walk over to where Matt was I took a seat next to him while still singing when the song ended I kissed Matt

After singing my last two songs for the night i start to speak "look thank you all for coming to this show it's meant the world to me to be up here singing again on stage but it wouldn't be possible with out mickey on the bass or are drummer Tommy or are lovely back up singers or Susan on keys everybody or Herman for letting this happen you all have been great thank you all for coming have a great night and let's play one more time holding out for a hero"

Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the streetwise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed
Late at night, I toss and I turn
And I dream of what I need
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Larger than life
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere, just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder
And rising with the heat
It's gonna take a Superman to sweep me off my feet, yeah
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I could swear there is someone, somewhere watching me
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach like a fire in my blood
(Like a fire in my blood, like a fire in my blood
Like a fire in my blood, like a fire in my blood, blood)
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night

The next morning

I woke up to my phone blowing up with the words the rock star returns after years of being gone. I read everything about how someone posted a video of my performance singing again and the video went viral overnight "great here we go again" I said to myself
