Heyyyy guess who's back! (Me, it's me, I'm back) remembered my wattpad and school spirits got added to Netflix! Double win! Not sure if I'll continue this honestly. We'll see!
Caroline made Charley promise not to say anything about the closet incident. And to not treat her differently and make the camp-out weird.
She knew it was harder said than done, she saw the looks he gave her over the campfire.
Caroline didn't want her first camp-out smothered by her personal problems. It was the first year Dawn was participating, so she had to as well.
"So, do we tell ghost stories?" Caroline asked. Half joking.
She went to a sleep away camp when she was 14. They told ghost stories around a campfire and ate s'mores. The whole 9 yards. Now that she was a ghost, it didn't seem a fun.
"Usually we end up telling alive stories, embarrassing stuff from when we were living." Wally said.
"Well you guys know all my embarrassing stuff." Caroline told them. It was true, she told most of her funny stories already. Besides her party ones, those are precious.
"Yeah, like you're an open book." Charley rolled his eyes.
She shot him a glare.
"Well I have a few, but I was shit faced so I will be taking liberties." She confessed.
She knew that wasn't what Charley meant.
"Like that time you hit me with a stick?" Wally shoved her with his elbow.
She scoffed at him. "You deserved that." She turned to the rest of the group. "He literally followed me home, like a creep."
"I was walking you home! You fell over like twice!"
"Trust me, I've walked myself home in worse states! Like once I couldn't get the door open so slept on my porch."
Mr. Martin looked almost disgusted.
"Come on Mr. M, don't tell me you've never slept in a ditch before." She looked over at him.
Caroline had learned to deal with Mr. Martin. Always keep it light and bother him all the time. It worked, and was fun too.
"I thought you said it was a porch?" Steven asked. He was gingerly roasting his marshmallow.
"Well, that too."
"I thought you were joking when you said that! You actually fell asleep in a ditch?" Wally asked, concerned.
"Yeah I'm surprised it's not what killed me, it was like in the middle of winter." Caroline laughed to herself.
Everyone was quiet, besides Dawn who had heard all these stories before and laughed along.
"Well- once I got a concussion and gave the school nurse my number." Wally interrupted the thick silence.
"Ew! Wally she was like 70!" Caroline hit his shoulder.
