"You can't tell anyone I did that." Caroline told Rhonda as they left the bathroom.
"You mean I can't tell Mr. M?" She asked. She got the idea.
"I can't be the only one who thinks he's a weirdo!" Caroline scanned the hall for anyone before slipping into an old empty classroom.
"Well... no, but he probably just thinks he's doing a good thing. A useless thing but I just feel so bad for him sometimes. Like it's really sad." Rhonda closed the door.
"Please Ronny?" She tilted her head with a pouty lip. "Don't tell Mr. Afterlife crisis I'm a freak."
Rhonda crossed her arms at the nickname. "Caroline, that was seriously insane. Cool! But crazy!"
"I'll do whatever you want! I'll turn off the breaker box! I'll even burn the brussel sprouts on Thursday!" Rhonda hates brussel sprouts and believes they're cruel and unusual punishment. Caroline loves them.
For a moment her glare gave in. Rhonda saw her old friend and decades long girl crush in the stranger Caroline's made of herself. "Fine."
"Yes! You won't regret this! Now let's take the screws out of the chemistry teachers chair!" She also wanted to blow something up.
