"HEY! COME AND GET IT!" Roxie shouted, throwing meat into the enclosure. Three of the four raptors ran towards it, but the blue one only looked away. Brooklynn and I ran down the stairs and saw Dave and Roxie with other staff members. My breathing was so heavy, it was worrying. The door opened and Darius and Kenji came running out.

When the gate closed, Kenji rested his back against the cage door. "Um, Kenji," I said. "Yup," he responded. "I don't think you want to turn your back in the cage," I said. He looked at me confused and turned around. He screamed as he saw saw blue raptor with her face against the cage door, snarling. Kenji quickly turned away and the blue raptor walked off.

"Dave that was... Thank you," Darius said. "It's just standard procedure, Darius. We do this kind of thing all the time," Dave said, sounding quite shaken up. "Excuse me," he said before leaning over to throw up. "That's better," he muttered.

I ran to Darius and, without thinking, threw my arms around him. Once I realized, I quickly backed away. "Sorry, I'm impulsive like that," I said, "Oh, also." I smacked Darius in the back of the head. "That's for almost dying. You are the only person I can tolerate here and I don't need you dead," I said, jabbing my finger into his chest. "I'll add it to the list," Darius said.

Roxie came up to us. "Are you guys okay? Are you hurt?" She asked. Kenji tried sneaking away and was unsuccessful. "Woah, woah, woah! Where do you think you're going?! You four are in big trouble," Roxie scolded them. "What!? But he-" "Save it! Well decide what to do with you later. If you even get to remain here here after a stunt like that," Roxie said, cutting Darius off.

When we returned to camp, Dave and Roxie sat Darius and Kenji in a different room. They already had their talk with me and Brooklynn, then they went to talk to Darius and Kenji. I listened from the other room.

"We gave Brooklynn and Chris a warning for sneaking out but what you two chuckleheads did!" Dave started, him and Roxie inching closer to them. "Especially you, Kenji! Your recklessness put yours, Darius, Chris, and Brooklynn's lives in danger. We should call your parents-"

"It was my fault!" Darius said, cutting Roxie off. That caused me to choke on air. I covered my mouth with my arm so Dave and Roxie didn't hear me. "I jumped into the pit, Kenji... was trying to save me," he continued.

"Yeah. That's what happened. I was saving this poor, confused kid," Kenji said. "Hang on, Darius, the dinosaur genius was saved by Kenji, the guy who believes dinosaurs went extinct, and I quote, 'their farts turned the air trashy,' " Roxie repeated. "Prove me wrong," I heard Kenji mutter.

"It's just that Brooklynn and Chris's account are very different," Roxie said. "Brooklynn, look it was dark and she needs glasses. And Chris, you met her, right?" Kenji said. Oh he is so getting punched tomorrow. "Look, no harm, no foul. Let's chalk the whole thing up to experience. Lessons, friendship-this is what camp is about! Who's with me," Dave said, trying to lighten the mood. "Fine, but one more misstep...," Roxie said. "We won't let you down," Darius said, "So what are we doing tommorow?"

I was in the back of the Jeep next to Brooklynn while Darius and Kenji stood next to a pile of dino dung. Roxie tossed them shovels. "Enjoy cleaning this up. We're all going to the genetics lab," she said, getting into the Jeep. Before leaving, Dave tossed Darius some cologne. "Cologne. Helps with the smell. And the ladies," Ok, why did Dave look at me when he said that. "What what! But mainly the smell, the stench of dino dung can linger," Dave finished. I gave Darius a two finger salute before we drove off.

Brooklynn sighs beside me. "I'm still dropping followers. 'When are we going going to see all the cool stuff', chill dude, I just got here," she mutters. "So what's your next video?" Sammy asked her, "Ooh, maybe there's baby dino eggs in the lab. Everybody loves a baby video." "Whatever it is, it'll be cool," Brooklynn snapped, crossing her arms. "I think you need to cool," I said. Brooklynn glared at me.

I looked over to see Ben humming while lathering himself in hand sanitizer. "Sanitizer. Who knows what kind of creepy dino goo is at that lab. Gotta be ready for anything. The world is a grab-bag of gross, and we're all just along for the moist, sticky roller coaster called life," he says, applying more sanitizer onto his leg. I saw Yasmina grab a bottle of hand sanitizer and starts rubbing it on her hands, while Ben hums as he applies more on his neck.

Finally we arrived at the lab and Brooklynn starts recording. Dave and Roxie start explaining how rare this opportunity is that we are here. "Wu, there it is," I heard Dave say from the other side of the room
