Brooklynn and Yaz held a lunch tray against the hole in the boat while Darius used the sealant Yaz, Sammy, and Ben found in Kenji's penthouse. The rest of us were watching them from behind.
"It ain't pretty, but it should be watertight," Brooklynn said. They backed away after Darius finished sealing it. Luckily, the tray didn't fall.
"Dope. Let's leave already," Kenji said.
"Oh my gosh! I can't believe this is really happening!" Sammy exclaimed shaking Kenji by the shoulders.
"Buh-bye, Isla Nublar!" Brooklynn exclaimed, waving at the island.
"We are out of here!" Yaz cheered.
"Homeward bound!" I yelled.
"Hey, hold up guys," Darius said, reading the back of the sealant, "It says that we have to wait forty-eight hours for it to set." We all groaned.
"Really?" Sammy asked.
"They just say that for insurance and junk. As your captain, I pronounce this vessel sea worth-" Kenji stopped after the tray fell when he tapped it. We all sent him looks. "Um, I got some captainy stuff to take care of over there so, carry on." Kenji handed Darius the tray before rushing off.
"One more time," Darius said, holding out the tray. Brooklynn held it against the hole as Darius sealed it, again. Sammy came up. behind Brooklynn.
"Hey, can I talk to you for a sec?" She asked.
"Kinda busy right now-"
"I need to talk to you about something personal," Sammy cut her off nervously.
Brooklynn dropped the tray and turned to Sammy. "Spill everything," she said, walking with Sammy to the end of the dock. Darius shot her an 'are you kidding me' look.
"Relax dino-nerd, I'll help you," I said, picking up the tray. I held it against the tray against the hole as Darius sealed it for the third time. "It should not take three freaking times to get this done," Darius muttered. I giggled. "You got that right," I agreed.
We finally finished and I wiped my forehead. "That should do it," I said, "Now let's see what Yaz and Kenji are up too." We then walked over to see Kenji throwing coins at Compies.
"Like my dad always said, if you got a problem, throw money at it," Kenji said.
"Kenji, not sure that's a good idea," Darius said, "Know what you get when you feed a pigeon?"
"A fat pigeon?" Kenji suggested.
Yaz punched him in the shoulder. "More pigeons! Ya get more pigeons!" She corrected, motioning to the many more Compies that showed up.
"Then it's a good thing I'm rich," Kenji said, taking out more coins, "Here you go! Money, money, money!" He continued to throw coins at the Compies.
"You are seriously making this so much worse," I said.
"Fetch! Get the quarters," Kenji said, ignoring me as he threw more coins.
Until a Compy grabbed the compass.
"She's got the compass!" Darius said.
"Not good" Yaz said.
"Definitely not good," I added.
"Hey, give that back. Come on! I'll give you two quarters for it," Kenji said. He threw the quarters only for two other Compies to run after it. The compass Compy just stared at us.
"Approach her slowly," Darius informed. We tried that but she ran off. We groaned before we started chasing her. Ben and Bumby came back from their wall through the jungle.
