"Run, run, run!" Darius shouted as we ran through the jungle.
"Is the Parasaurolophus still there?" Brooklynn asked as she and Sammy had Yaz's arms around their shoulders as they helped her run.
I looked back to see the Para behind us. Until the T-rex came out of nowhere and chased the Para in a different direction. "Not anymore!" I answered.
"Cover! Over there!" Darius said and we all hid behind a fallen tree. We all hid behind the tree and everyone flinched when we heard the crunching of bones. Me and Darius peeked over the edge to the the T-rex dragging the Para into the jungle.
"They're gone," Darius informed. Everyone sighed with relief as we fell back.
"Why are there some many dinosaurs around?" Kenji questioned.
"It's either your boyish charm, or all the fences on the island are down," Brooklynn answered.
"No offense, but it's definitely option two," Sammy said.
"I don't even care. Right now, I just want is a sandwich. We haven't has anything to eat since those awful carob bars that Ben..." Yaz trailed off as eveyone looked sadly each other.
But I was on my own head. Thinking about how I could go for my grandma's tamales. She hasn't made for a while. Mainly because they were his favorite.
Breaking my chain of thoughts, something roared in the distance, making everyone groan.
"We just need to eat and rest. I can't keep running like this," Sammy complained.
"We don't have to," Darius suddenly said. We walked up to see him staring at the pyramid thingy in Main Street. "There's bound to be a way to call for help on Main Street, and food, and everything else," He explained. We all got excited and started running towards Main Street.
But when we got there, everything was wrecked. There was glass and shit everywhere.
"Um, what happened here?" Kenji asked.
"I'm guessing dinosaurs," Yaz answered.
"It's more than that," Darius said, "Some kind of fight took place. From the height, it looks like the T-rex and something bigger."
"The Indominus Rex," Brooklynn said, looking down at the lagoon. Me and Darius walked over to her and gapsed at what we saw. Let's just say, there was... stuff, floating in the water.
"Ugh, or the Mosasaurus being hungry for awhile," Darius said.
"I'm jealous. Here we are starving and this girl over here gets a 5 star meal," I sarcastically said, motioning to the lagoon. Brooklynn rolls her eyes and Darius just chuckles.
"Guys! You have to see this!" Sammy called. We all walked over and were greeted by...
A cardboard Brooklynn.
Of course, we all started laughing.
"Wow, I totally forgot I agreed to that," Brooklynn said.
"Do you only own one outfit?" Darius asked.
"What? It's my signature look," Brooklynn defended.
"Yeah, you got the cartoon look," I quipped which caused everyone to laugh.
Kenji grabbed one of the chargers and went up to Brooklynn. "Please, autograph my charger, O queen of the Brooklanders," He said while kneeling and laughing.
"I think it's pretty cool. When we get rescued, I taking it with us," Sammy said.
"TBH, this does kinda of reminds me of home. I haven't posted in days, I bet my followers are worried sick about me," Brooklynn said.
