I ran to the car trying to hurry up and get out of there. I threw the suitcase in the trunk and slammed it as hard as I could. Whatever was left behind was just left. There was no turning back at this point. This was the end of a life I once thought I had. I got in the car a train wreck highly emotional and upset. "Can we leave please...... NOW!" I yelled at the driver begging him to get the hell out of here.

I just busted out the crying in Michael's arms. "I knew I shouldn't have came back here. This was a bad idea. Fuck!"

"Shh shh. It's okay. It's over now. It's done." He hugged me closely to him.

"The fucking nerve of him! He let this happen not me! He let things get to where they are. He made my choice for me."

Michael let me go lifting me up looking at me strange. "And what do you mean by that exactly?" Now I have a confused look on my face. "What?"

"You still got feelings for this nigga don't you?"

His comment pissed me off. "Michael, how you gone ask me some shit like that? You fucking serious right now?"

Michael began to raise his voice and now we are going back and forth arguing at each other. "Yeah I'm fucking serious! You crying and shit talking about he let this happen, he made your choice for you. The fuck does that mean??" He was more frustrated than angry. "Like do you even want this marriage forreal? Let me know Kourtney."

"You are a beyond selfish self centered motherfucker if I ain't never seen one! Asking me this shit right now! You know what? To keep from cussing yo motherfucking ass out and saying something I'll regret, just shut the fuck up talking to me forreal. Fucking nerve of you!" I turned my body completely facing the window, putting my AirPods in to block out the world. A tear fell from my eye. I was highly emotional and not myself.

I was so ready to leave Memphis I didn't know what to do. I just sat there for the ride not knowing where we was going and didn't even care at this point. All I really wanted right now was to be left alone and unbothered.

I felt the car stop. I was still looking down on my phone not paying attention. Michael got out the car. I still didn't move. He walked over to my side and opened my door. When I finally looked up, the place we were at was very familiar. It was my mother's house. He held his hand out to me helping me out the car. He held my hand. I looked at him and he looked at me as we walked to the front door.

He rang the door bell. My mama came to the door and I felt a sense of relief. Mama, I mumbled falling into her arms hugging her tightly and I started crying again. These were tears of joy. I was so happy to see her. I really needed her and it's like Michael knew that.

We went in the house to talk. I let it all out telling her everything that has happened up until now. She supported me no matter what. Her biggest concern was my happiness. I showed her that rock and she was in awe. "Oh my God that is beautiful!! I love that for you baby."

"I'll be moving to LA mama, like today. I'm gonna miss you so much." I hugged her tightly.

"I'll miss you more baby. I'm only a phone call away plus I can't wait to come out there to visit!" Michael was excited to hear her say that. "Mama you welcome any time. I'd love to have you plus you gotta help with this wedding."

"And do!! I'm so excited. I've been waiting on this day her whole life." We continued to joke and laugh and talk up until it was time to go. I was going to miss my mom dearly for I have never not been close to her ever in my life but I knew I had to grow up one day. This wasn't goodbye for it was a see you later.

Michael and I said our goodbyes before we headed out. We both gave my mom huge hugs and kisses. Her and Michael even exchanged mothers. She programmed his name as "Son in Law." She can be so aggy. I laughed so hard.

We got to the car and I was a totally different person than I was when we got out. Michael opened my door for me before he went and got in on the opposite side. "Baby thank you for this. This was great. I love you so much." I kissed him all over his face. I kinda got carried away. "Quick question. How'd you know where my mama lived?" I raised my eyebrow as I had my arms around his neck. "I hit up my friend whose career is to find people if you know what I mean." He winked at me and I just rolled my eyes. I knew exactly what he meant.

"But in all seriousness I love you more baby. You welcome." Me feeling better now, I wanted to express to Michael about earlier. "I want to apologize for snapping on you earlier. I'm sorry. Hope you can forgive me."

"Baby you good. Matter of fact, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I said while you were in such a vulnerable state." We hugged and kissed.

I whispered in his ear, "God I want you like right now." I licked the inside of his ear sucking on his earlobe. I knew that was his spot. I got closer up under him out the driver's view. The music was loud so he couldn't hear us.
