31. My Panic Attack

The next day I had a very busy agenda again, another girl was having a panic attack and drained me emotionally, she was getting homesick and couldn't calm down. After almost two hours she finally calmed down, but I was very tired afterward; so after arriving at the hotel I went directly to my room to rest a bit. However, as soon as I stepped in and started checking my personal phone I realized I had 12 missed calls from my dad. I called him back right away only to get his voicemail, I tried again... and again.

Now I was the one suffering a panic attack, flashbacks came to my mind, and I felt like I was running out of breath. I ran to Yoongi's room crying and not thinking straight at all, started banging on his door and calling out his name in despair.

— "Bella! What's wrong?"

— "My Dad... Yoongi, my Dad! " — I showed him my phone with all the missed calls and my failed attempts to call him back. — "He's not answering my calls Yoongi! Something's wrong! Oh no! Not again, please God, not again!"

— "Bella! Calm down! Listen to me, can you call one of your sisters? Calm down! Call your sister and find out what happened, I'm right here with you, everything will be ok, you'll see."

And just like that, I got a call from one of my sisters. I put her on speaker so Yoongi could hear.

A/N: my sisters and I speak in English or Spanish; this is, if one of us starts speaking in English, the other one just switches to the same language we start speaking in, so I started speaking in English, and Mimi automatically spoke in English too. Maybe I did this so Yoongi could understand some of it, honestly, I don't know why I did so.

— "Hello! Mimi! Is Daddy OK? I couldn't answer my phone! I couldn't answer his calls!"

— "Bella, calm down, please. Listen, Daddy got assaulted coming out of the bank..." — I interrupted her immediately

— "No!! Mimi No!! Not again! Sebastian!" — Yoongi understood this word perfectly and swallowed deeply.

— "Bella, it's not Sebastian all over again. Daddy is ok, we're at the hospital, he's just pretty beaten up... broken nose and two ribs. But he's stable, he's ok. Please hermanita, calm down."

—"Was he calling me for help?" Why was he calling me?"

— "I don't know why he has you as his first emergency contact, the paramedic was the one trying to call you."

— "I'm taking the first flight home Mimi! I'll be there tomorrow no matter what!"

Again, Yoongi understood what I said, and he closed his eyes and sighed. Mimi quickly responded in a stern tone

— "No, you're not Bella. Daddy is ok. Jessi is here with me, Violet is on her way from Chihuahua and will be here any minute, and Olivia is flying in tomorrow. And you... you are staying right where you are, because if you come over Daddy would not forgive himself for that, do you hear me? You are staying right there, and you will go on with this journey of yours. Ok?"

— "Ook... Mimi, please let me know as soon as I can talk to him, please!"

— "Yes, Sweetie, I will. Calm down now, are you alone? Go and look for somebody to help you calm down."

— "I'm with Yoongi right now, he's listening to everything, I have you on speaker, he's right here next to me."

—"Oh!... well hello Yoongi, as you heard I'm Mireya, Mimi, I'm Bella's eonni. Nice to meet you even if it's by phone."

— "Annyeong Mimi-Noona, nice to meet you. No worry, I take care of Bella, I comfort her and be sure she ok always, neh."

— "Gamsahabnida Yoongi! Please don't let her do anything crazy, like trying to catch a flight back home."

— "Aniyo! I don't let her, no worry."

— "Bella, Violet just got here, I gotta go. Jessi sends her love. I will let Daddy know that you're ok, and you will talk to him as soon as they let him take the call ok?" God bless you, Sweetie, I love you."

— "Love you back. Bye."

My heart melted when I  listened to Yoongi trying his best to speak in English with Mimi.
