I hung around my neck my staff ID with the word TRANSLATOR and went to the lobby to meet Seung and escort him to the VIPs.

— "Jung Seung?" — a very handsome man turned around.

— "Yes?"

— "Nice to meet you! I'm Isabella Garza, I will keep you company today during the show."

— "Oh, thank you! Please call me Seung." — We both bowed in courtesy, shook hands, and hugged politely.

— "Follow me, please put this on." — I gave him an all-access pass.

Once we got to the VIP lounge I offered him a drink before we stepped in his section.

— "So, you know Yoongi from high school?" — I tried to start a small chat.

— "Oh, yes! Well, we go back before high school, I've known him since we were in 7th grade. You see, my dad is a diplomat, so we moved around a lot. I was new to Daegu and we both attended Gwaneum Middle School. I always had a rough time adapting to new cities and schools, but Yoongi Hyung made it easy for me for the first time ever. Then my mom decided I needed to stay in the same place to finish high school, so I lived with my oehalmeoni until I graduated. Yoongi and I went together to Gangbuk also. But you know the story, he moved to Seoul, had to finish high school there, and when I graduated I moved here to the States to study at Juilliard to become a music producer. I only went back to Korea to fulfill my MS and for family reunions and such."

— "So you never saw him after high school?"

— "We did meet a couple of times for the first 3-4 years and tried to keep in touch, but, well... he became a big hit with BTS..."— We both giggled at his comment. — "When I read about his tour, I thought to give it a try and contact him, I honestly didn't think he would respond, and here I am! First time ever watching him on stage."

— "And you won't be disappointed, his show is amazing!"

— "May I ask about you, I can clearly see you're a staff translator, but I can't get a grip of your English accent, your name is not American, and you're not from Korea for sure."

— "Long story that I will try to make it short. I was born in Texas and lived here in the States until I was 10, my parents are Mexican so we moved back to Chihuahua, and I've been living in Mexico ever since. I took Korean at my university for 2 years, but since I'm a geek, I caught up with it very easily. A few weeks ago there was a sudden and urgent opening for a therapist position among the staff, and since I have a Ph.D. in psychology and speak both languages... well, here I am, helping out during the tour."

— "Wow! So you just went for it, all in, and left your life in Mexico?"

— "Yup, it's temporary though, so... I'm just glad I had the opportunity." — (it's temporary, Bella, remember that.) I tried to shut up my stupid brain.

We kept on chatting, saw Yoongi on stage during the sound check, then waited for the concert to begin. Seung is a very nice person, even though he's a recognized music producer, he remains humble and nice to be around of.

— "The concert was great! Damn Yoongi, he goes into another universe when he performs!" — Seung was impressed with Yoongi's performance.

— "Yeah, and every time it just gets better."
