Chapter 35 : Bedridden

"What do you mean, Duex? Real Dad? P-Paano?" May namumuo ng paliwanag sa isip ko ngunit hindi ko 'yon matanggap.

He shifted his weight uncomfortably on his chair and tears started to form at the corner of his eyes. I waited for him to speak, he attempted to utter a word but he failed when tears started to stream down on his cheeks.

"He raped your Mom," nahihirapang bulong niya dahilan para manlumo ako at mapakapit sa lamesa para kumuha ng suporta. I placed my hand on my chest when I felt my breathing become rough. My vision became blurry and the world seemed to be spinning. I opened my mouth to gather enough air to breathe but I couldn't. I heard Duex' voice but it was so muffle that I couldn't even understand.

I closed my eyes and when I lifted my ashes, I was already floating and before I could process everything everything went black.

I heard voices within the room when I woke up. I remained my eyes closed and started listening instead of moving to tell them that I'm already awake.

"It's your fault, you should always keep your eyes on her so don't blame it on me." I heard Silver's voice.

"That fucktard, he knew Xhia's pregnant but he still risk her," nanggigigil na saad ni Styx at naramdaman ko ang paghaplos ng kanyang kamay sa palad ko. Nanatili akong nakapikit habang nakikinig sa kaniya. Pinakiramdaman ko muna ang lahat bago unti-unting dumilat at agad na dumapo ang mata ko kay Styx na galit ang mukha.

"I didn't mean it, okay? I already apologized." Kumunot ang noo ko dahil narinig ko rin ang boses ni Duex. What the hell are they doing here?

"Your apologies is not accepted," mahinang asik ni Silver kasabay ng mahinang tunog ng suntok. Nakatingin lang ako sa kanilang tatlo nang hindi pa rin nila nakikitang gising na ako. They obviously hated being in one room but they still stay to make sure that I'm going to be okay. A smile crept up on my face when Styx gazed at me. He was about to kiss my forehead but froze when he saw me awake. His eyes widened a fraction.

"X-Xhia," mahinang bulong niya at tila ba nanghihinang sinubsob ang mukha sa leeg ko. He hugged me tightly as if his life depends on me.

"You're awake," bulong niya pa. Tumingin ako sa dalawang lalaki sa likod niya na tahimik na nakamasid sa aming dalawa. I lightly pushed his chest. "'Yong baby ko?"

Styx smiled but there's a tears forming on his eyes. He bit his lower lip and my heart races when I saw his reaction.

"S-Styx..."

"Our baby is safe, don't worry. Please don't scare me like that," puno ng pakiusap niyang saad at pinagsiklop ang kamay namin at dinala 'yon sa labi niya.

Parang may tinik na nawala sa puso ko at mabilis na nangilid ang luha. Muli ay bumalik sa alaala ko ang mga sinabi ni Duex. Tulad kanina ay hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Styx remained silent but I noticed how his eyes panicked.

"Silver, go and call the doctor!" utos ni Styx at mabilis namang sinunod ng dalawa. My tears fell, parang dinudukot ang puso ko sa sobrang sakit.

Salubong ang kilay na umiyak ako sa harapan ni Styx. Nataranta siya ngunit nanatiling tahimik at hinalikan ang kamao ko.

"Did you know that Antonio is my real Dad?" nanghihinang saad ko. His eyes grew bigger and his jaw dropped like he wasn't expecting that.

I sobbed. "He r-rape my mother, h-he abused her!"

Styx encircled her arms on my shoulder when I started yelling and throwing the pillows. Nahagip ng kamay ko ang babasaging vase sa gilid ko at agad na hinagis 'yon sa sobrang galit. I heard Styx murmuring something to calm me down but the demon couldn't be tame. I screamed at the top of my lungs when I felt a lethal pain on my chest. It was causing me to hardly breathe, It was putting something on my throat that forbidden me to gather air to breath. I remained crying until I felt a pain pricked on my skin.
