Chapter 1

"Phil, I'm nervous. What if the child doesn't like me? What if-" Dan whispered to Phil. "Don't worry, it'll be okay." Phil whispered to Dan, holding his hand. "O-Okay. If you say so." Dan whispered to Phil.
"Mr. Howlters?" A Woman with a clipboard asked out loud. "Yes?" Phil responded. We both got up and walked to the Woman, holding hands. "Hello, Daniel and Phillip." The Woman greeted us." Welcome! If you want to follow me, you will go into the room with all of our lovely children. Oh, yes, and you can only adopt 2. If you want to adopt another, you would have to pay another 100 dollars."
She lead us to the room full of children from what it looked like 2 year olds to 8 year olds. "These children are absolutely adorable." Phil told me when the Woman closed the door leaving Phil and I with all of these children. "I feel bad if we pick only 2. The other children will look at us and then I'll feel bad." Dan said to Phil, pointing at all of the children around us. "Hmm...me too. But, you know what I do? I just look for what I'm looking for, and then not look anywhere around me." Phil said.
We looked around for children that would be perfect for us. We found a girl who had black hair and brown eyes. "Dan! I love her! I choose her!" Phil happily yelled. "Awww, yeah. She is adorable!" Dan agreed. Dan picked her up and booped her nose with his giant finger. "Hi..my name is Andrea. What is your name?" Asked the little girl, smiling at Dan. " Hi, my name is Dan and he," Dan pointed at Phil who was playing patty cake with a little girl a couple toys away,"Is Phil. And you are our new child!" Dan happy yelled. "Really? Yay! I wanna go say bye to my friends and hi to Phil!" Dan let Andrea down and she ran off to her little group of friends.
"Phil!" Dan waved at Phil to get his attention. Phil didn't hear Dan because it was so noisy in that room. Dan walked over to Phil. "Phil?" Dan asked. "Yes, Dan?" Phil answered. "I found a girl. Her name is Andrea." Dan pointed to Andrea. "Awww she's cute. Okay, well, I'm sorry, but I have to go. Bye bye Angelique!" Phil waved at the little girl he was playing patty cake with. "Bye Phiw!" Angelique yelled back. Dan giggled and so did Phil.
"Okay, so yeah, I found Andrea." Dan told Phil, holding his hand again. "Can I pick the boy?" Phil asked. "Sure, Love." Dan agreed. He kissed Phil's cheek and he and Phil walked around trying to find a boy. They spotted a little boy that looked around the age of 3. He looked lonely. "Dan, I want that one. He looks sad." Phil said to Dan, pointing at the boy.
