Scars That Can't Be Healed

The thief started to chit chat
The Thief: Who.. Which One Of You Brats Live Here!? Because I Heard That She Knows Some Kids From This Area And She Even Came Over Here A Few Times. I Know She Must Be Here She Couldn't Have Just Disappeared For Real..!? He said in a fast pace.
So Where Is She!? WHERE IS AMI KAWASHIMA!!?

They grasped a shocked expression onto their already scared faces as they were clueless to the new news being heard that Ami had been missing..?

The thief started looking at them crazy as they didn't answer any of his questions. Before he could move though, 2 officers ran into Taiga's apartment shouting "Hands Up!" to the intruder, holding him at gun point, in her apartment.

He easily, quickly dropped the knife with his hands in the air.

Minutes After______

Taiga's apartment had a couple more officers after the burglar was apprehended. The lead detective came up to them & started talking.

Detective: Well.... I'm Sorry You Both Had To Go Through Whatever That Was... But... Ryūji... That Was Smart Thinking For You To Call The Police When You Did.

Ryūji: Ooh.. Uhh...

Detective: It Was A Real Life Saver For The Both Of You. But I'm Afraid That Now We're Going To Have To Take You To The Police Station.. J-Just For Your Statements Seeing This Is Now A Crime Scene.

When they've been escorted to the police station they entered an empty room with 1 table & three chairs, 1 on one side & 2 on the open side for Ryūji & Taiga.

The lead detective asked for their statements, basically what happened in the apartment.
After about 20 minutes of them discussing & the detective getting their stories straight, they were about to be escorted out when Ryūji asked..

Ryūji: Um If You Don't Mind Me Asking.. Is The Part True About Ami Kawashima Missing?

Detective: Well The Fact Is That... No Reports Have Been Made About Her Missing, But She Has Been Off The Grid. No One Has Seen Her Or Heard From Her In A Couple Months.

Ryūji: W-What Happened?

Detective: Im Sorry Ryūji But I Can't Disclose That Information. The Case Is... Classified.

Ryūji & Taiga then walked out the police station & were escorted back to Ryūji's house.
Taiga & Ryūji exited the police car & it drove off but before they could enter his house a car pulled up infront them & in it exited Aya, Taiga's Mom, & Jun'ichi, Aya's Fiancé.

Aya ran to Taiga shouting "Taiga! Are You Okay!? The Detective Called And Told Me Everything! I Can't Believe Your Irresponsible Father Would Put You In Such A Trash Hotel!

Taiga: It's Not Dad's Fault Mom

Aya: Ooh Im Going To Have It With That Staff
(The Hotel's Staff)

Aya then walked over to the hotel while Ryūji & Taiga went in Ryūji's house. About 30 minutes of boringness, Aya then came back to Ryūji & Taiga angrily, telling Taiga to pack her things.

Aya: Taiga!... Pack Your Things! I'm Removing You From This Dangerous Neighborhood.

Taiga: Mom! You're Overreacting.

Aya: Go And Get Your Things Packed Right Now Young Lady, I'm Doing This For Your Safety.

Taiga: I Don't Want To Leave Ryūji.

She & her mother quarreled for some time about the situation, but each time her mother brought up the idea that she wanted to bring Taiga over the new city to live with her, Taiga continued to refuse.
Aya eventually gave up & stormed out Ryūji's house & drove off with Jun'ichi.

Ryūji & Taiga were still in some kind of shock after their experience & the silence in the house grew exponentially, especially since Yasuko wasn't there. A couple hours later when it's around the evening time, Ryūji had already finished up his chores, cleaning the place & cooking. He & Taiga ate their dinners & went to bed as quickly as they could, leaving Yasuko to come home to a quiet house.
