Ryūji then said "Well I Guess We Got To Find Someone Else To Take Us Home." They then went around speaking to some of the guests.
Since Taiga was the daughter of Aya, all the guests were super friendly. It wasn't hard for them to get a ride home for all 3 of them.
The Next Day . Ryūji was at work & Taiga stayed home. She would regularly check her phone for any messages from her father. She was still pissed at the fact that he didn't show up at her mother's wedding but still cared enough to at least wait for a reply around her phone.

The day went by as fast as a race car & she still hadn't gotten a reply from her father. She spent her whole day feeling blue, laying around not doing anything as some of her heavy emotions lifted.
Taiga woke up the Tuesday & checked her phone, still awaiting a reply from her father. But every time she checked her phone, there was no notification from Rikurou.

Ryūji tried comforting her when he got home last night but even he knew in the back of his head that Rikurou had a nasty thing of disappearing at the time he's most needed.
This time, it was unforgivable. Taiga went through half of the day waiting for a text message, still no response from her father. Taiga got upset & angry then she blocked him & closed her phone. She stared at her phone for a few seconds showing that she was perplexed, but after those few seconds she walked away as if she wasn't troubled at all. She went in the kitchen to look for a snack to take her mind off things.
Later she got a call by Ryūji & he was telling her that Kitamura just called & told him that he was on a flight to Japan for Christmas.
Ryūji: Hey Kitamura Just Called. He Said He's On A Flight Over To Japan.
Taiga: Ohh... She said sounding blue.
Ryūji could tell by her tone.
Ryūji: Hey Cheer Up. He Said He Had A Surprise For Us.
Taiga: A Surprise? She asked in a dismal tone & also sounding intrigued.
Ryūji: Yeah. He answered
Taiga: What Kind Of Surprise?She asked out of curiosity.
Ryūji: He Didn't Say.
Taiga: Oh.
Ryūji started to think to himself. ("It's Just Like Last Time. I Can't Do A Thing For Her. And It's Not Like Last Time When I Had To Win A Race For Her. Wait, That's Right. It's Not Like Last Time.") A his face brightened up in realization.
Ryūji: Hey Listen. It's Not Like Last Time Okay. You're Not Alone This Time.
Taiga's eyes widened in shock a bit as she heard Ryūji's voice.
Ryūji: It's Just That Deadbeat Of A Father Needs To Go Get Lost. I'll Call You Back But I Don't Want You Thinking About Him Okay?
Taiga: Okay...
And for the rest of the day....... It hadn't seem to bother her that much.
The Next Day . The day was now Wednesday & it was the the day of the wedding, the wedding day of Rikurou.
Ryūji had left for work & Taiga was still sitting in her bed a little worried & confused about what she should do. She really wanted the relationship between her family to be stable so she didn't want to miss the wedding. But after all of what she went through & Rikurou still haven't seen the need to change, she thought it was impossible. Rikurou just had a very wicked & sickening personality.
Taiga decided that it would be best if she just stopped trying & accepted the fact. She laid in her bed still feeling a little blue about the situation. She didn't go to the wedding.
