The next day, Taiga was preparing for the Christmas Eve Party that she invited Ami, Minori & Kitamura to. It was a special party that she only invited those 3 to her house with Ryūji. The party was set to start at 7, Minori was free from working, she left that time free on her schedule because of how much it meant to Taiga because of how she emphasized on it.
Ryūji was at work so Taiga had the whole place to herself for the day to keep & to spend decorating.
For the next couple of hours Taiga decorated the living room, kitchen, their bedroom & even the bathroom, making sure that every single decoration was perfect down to the last detail.
Taiga added balloons all around the rooms of the house green, white & red. It took her an hour to pump up all the balloons with helium. Then she randomly scattered them around the rooms in groups of 3. She got her Christmas socks & added 2 candy canes in each of them then hung them around the walls since they didn't have a chimney. Taiga brought out a portable table for the gifts & also a snack table.
Taiga even had an inflatable Santa Claus. She set out 5 fake snow men throughout the house & then she put up a "Merry Christmas" sign in the living room.
Taiga issued out the snacks into bowls onto the snack table after she finished decorating. Then she began cooking a large meal for the party.
A Few Hours Later . Ryūji got home & saw what Taiga was cooking with the decorations & also smelling it as she was cooking up a storm. Ryūji was surprised at the progress that Taiga made. He stood at the door looking straight down the hallway in the kitchen then around the house, making his eyes trace all over the walls & the floors of the room.
As he stood there baffled for sometime Taiga greeted him from in the kitchen, as she was still cooking. "Hey Ryūji! It's For The Part Tonight."
Ryūji still stood there then he rested his briefcase right next to the basket on the floor that's for guests. Then walked down the hallway towards Taiga, amazed. He then said "Wow, You Really Went All Out Huh?"
Taiga proudly smiled at Ryūji. Ryūji went in the bedroom, still amazed, & had to change in to something nice for the party.
Taiga shouted from the kitchen. Taiga: Oh Ryūji, Your Costume Is On The Bed!
A few minutes later Ryūji walked out of room with his costume on.

But.... it was Christmas themed & he came out with a Santa suit on, holding his hands apart looking up & down the suit in confusion & disappointment.
Ryūji: Really? Is This What You Got Me To Wear? He said in his soft grumpy tone not wanting to wear the costume.
Taiga: What? It's Christmas Eve. And What Better Costume Than A Santa Costume?
