TORADORA! SEASON 2

The Special Surprise 2

Ryūji laid out a walkway of petals of different varieties & different colors on the floor from the front door straight down through their walkway to the living room. He then lit some candles & placed them in random locations & in a trail from around the door to the living room where the rose petals led to. He looked around the room after he placed the last candle, the setting didn't look quite right to him, it didn't look like what he was going for.

Ryūji then realized what was wrong with the setting & pulled the curtains shut. As soon as he darkened the place, the room came to life.

He then got out some towels & her bath rope then put them 1 side. He then looked around the room, checking everything to see if it was perfect for his future bride. He smiled, then checked his phone to see the time, he realized that only 15 minutes had past & he doesn't know when Taiga'll be back. So he texted her:

Ryūji: "Hey What Time Will You Be Back?"

Taiga: "I'm Just Getting At The Mall, I Haven't Seen Anything Yet And The Sky's Not Overcast Anymore, So I Won't Be Back Anytime Soon."

Taiga: "Maybe In 2 Or 2& A 1/2 Hours."

Ryūji closed his phone off after reading that message. He then, made up his mind, to sit & wait those few hours. He sat in the couch looking at his presentation & an idea struck him in the head like an arrow. Quickly, he jumped off of the couch onto his feet. He ran in his room & came out back after a few minutes of searching with a recipe written down. He went into their kitchen, peeked & looked around, then grabbed a bag & ran to the store. He bought all the supplies he thought he needed & scurried back.

When he got home he ran in the kitchen & popped out what he bought. He grabbed his bakeware then started baking. He weighed the flour for the precise ratio to be added.

He whipped up the ingredients to make some icing of some sort.

He put a pot on a stove that had some unique properties in it with some being flour, vanilla, salt(Pun Intended), sugar, cinnamon, eggs & a bunch more stuff you'd usually see in baking a cake making batter. He checked & stirred it every now & then making sure it was not ruined by inattentiveness.

It's suppose to be as thick as porridge, the recipe said. He then started cutting up the oranges he had bought

& placed them sliced in a bowl separate from the batter already mixed.

He then dipped the slices of oranges in the batter 1 by 1 then after he was done he squeezed the icing type second layer on top.

Then he placed it in the oven on medium heat.

While he left it in the oven, he started preparing a meal, something for them to eat & he was in luck because he had all the ingredients he needed. He then took out what he needed & started making preparing the food.

He sliced & chopped & grabbed & fixed & cut again. But then, out of nowhere, Taiga.

Taiga texted him.
(Vvvvtt) his phone went vibrating from the notification. He went over to read the text & his face lit up with shock.

Taiga: "I'll Be Home Soon, I'm Leaving The Mall Early Because I Can't Find Anything That I Want."

This was bad for Ryūji, he hadn't even started the meal yet & the baking would take at least another hour. The surprise was ruined.
