Aya's Wedding

It's now the next day, Sunday, & it's 7 in the morning. Ryūji & Taiga were waiting for Aya & Jun'ichi to come pick them up to bring them to their wedding. Taiga was all dressed, seated in their couch, admiring at her diamond engagement ring. She was obsessed with it, staring at it every few minutes with a strong blush on her face, losing track of time, as if she was in a trance. She couldn't wait to give her mom & dad the good news.

With each second the diamond ring sparkled, making Taiga memorized with each shine.

A few minutes past & Aya & Jun'ichi parked outside & came in for Ryūji & Taiga. The place was still a mess from the proposal set up yesterday. Both Aya & Jun'ichi walked in to the strong scent of rose petals & burnt out candles. It was as early in the morning as the birds would get up. Ryūji & Taiga had to get ready for Aya's wedding as soon as they got up to be there before the ceremony started, including the fact that they also had Yasuko to pick up who was already ready & waiting.

Aya: Taiga!? Ryūji!? She said as a call.

Taiga heard Aya's voice & jumped out of the couch & ran to her in excitement.

Taiga: Mom! She screamed with joy.

Aya looked at her confused as Taiga closed the gap between them fast.

Taiga held out her hand in a boastful manner showing off the ring.

Taiga: Mom Look!

Aya: Wow! Congratulations, It's Wonderful. She said sounding enthusiastic. Ryūji You Finally Executed, And By The Looks Of It You Executed Perfectly. She said as her eyes scanned the room.

Even Jun'ichi was surprised, he looked at Taiga & said "Wow, That's Beautiful, Congratulations To You Guys."

Ryūji: Thanks. As he blushed a little.

Aya: You Both Are Going To Have To Clean This Up When You Get Back Though, Let's Go.

They all hopped in the car & left.
A few minutes later & they picked up Yasuko. Taiga showed her the ring in the car & Yasuko flipped out, overacting & exaggerating the whole situation more than it needed to be for the entire car ride.

When they got to the wedding, the setting was illuminating in a buzzy Christmas theme. Taiga & Ryūji were amazed as they've never seen the setting for Aya's wedding before, neither do they know what to expect for Rikurou's.

A Hour And A Half Later                    .
It's 9 A.M. & the wedding was about to start. The seats were filled, proving that all the guests were there, except for Rikurou & Hana. The 2 seats right next to Taiga were empty. Taiga got sad because she knew Rikurou didn't make it on purpose because of the beef between him & Jun'ichi. It had her mind flooding in doubts of herself, she really thought that she'd brought her family closer together after the year she'd spent with them. But after now all she could think about was how time wasting it all was since they still have beef & still hate each other.

Taiga was really excited to show her father the ring more than anything.

Ryūji looked up at Jun'ichi, the groom, & started to think to himself through a bit of anxiety ("That's Gonna Be Me In A Week. Alone Up On The Alter With Everyone's Eyes On Me. It's Gonna Be Pretty Awkward Standing There With Everyone Watching.") He said as the anxiety built up in his body little by little. Just then, Taiga leaned over onto Ryūji's arm, hugging it with her tiny arms wrapped around his as a gentle smile began to grow on her face, looking up at the alter at Jun'ichi. Ryūji made her forget everything.

Ryūji then felt a wave of relief calmed his tense body & his wild mind. He smiled then thought to himself ("Y'Know What, This Is My Destiny. I Am A Dragon After All") Sounding reassured.

The wedding carried on smoothly & everything about it was beautiful. After the wedding ceremony, a couple more events happened & after they were over the dinner was about to begin.

The dinner was served more exceptional than any restaurant they've been to with the food looking elegant & tasty, pleasing everyone at the wedding having them in awe. A couple guests made some really nice speeches & toasts as well throughout the dinner.

Then after the dinner, it was more time for the dance. But throughout the whole wedding Aya looked a bit distracted & down by the fact that her ex husband hadn't showed up. It was a disappointing act he would usually do frequently but it was thought that he'd drop that act months ago. Taiga saw how bothered her mother was about his absence & felt as even more of a disappointment.

Ryūji & Taiga danced for quite a while & conversed with each other about their wedding in the future in a happy memorable moment, taking her mind off the sad present moment.

But all good things must come to an end as the wedding finished. Jun'ichi & Aya went away to celebrate getting married, leaving Taiga & Ryūji at the wedding. Rikurou was the one assigned to bring them home but he didn't show. Taiga kept calling his phone but after every ring it went to voicemail. Taiga had her eyebrows in repose & her eyes widened looking mad.
