Letter #5

Hello there

How are you doing Mimi..? Hope you are well and happy..

The days are too long  and even though I am weary and tired , I am unable to sleep. My mind wanders from one thing to another....just like a wind without any particular reason or direction. As I wandered through memories of past and present, I remembered that I have some great things to tell you .

So here I am.....like every other day.

One of my army friends graduated today. I was watching the videos and pictures from the event with a smile on my face.

I am so proud of her...so so proud.
She was struggling for a long time....it was so bad that she could not even open a book and read for more than five minutes. I didn't know how to console her , she was so sad....

I know you would understand how helpless we could feel at times. All I could do was check on her every day and then Jungkook's bday came.
We were watching his bday live and she felt better too.

And later that month she attended her exams and scored well.
You know what Mimi? You guys have so much love to share with us and it encourages and motivates us to do better? Try harder or give it our all ?
She told me later that during Jungkook's live, he was singing 'magic shop' and he turned the microphone towards us to sing along...

' So show me..I will show you...' that's how she was able to pick up her books and try her best to read and attend her exam and today she graduated. Miracles do happen and I have seen it happening.
Mimi, what I feel right now is gratitude for all the love and kindness you guys have showered over us.

So thank you...again and again.
While looking at her graduation picture with her mom , I was a little bit sad too...a bit jealous maybe?!

When I graduated , life was so messed up and unkind, I couldn't even attend my own graduation. I wanted to, but things didn't work out the way I hoped and there's no graduation picture with my family.

I regret it sometimes...for all the choices I have made .
However, over that jealous feeling, I am genuinely happy for her and proud of her achievement.

There are millions of us who receive from you guys everyday....I wish those stories would reach you, and make you happy too.
I wish we could be your hope too whenever you need it the most ...we are here to stay and there's nowhere we want to go other than this magic shop.
So thank you and we love you
