Chapter 19

Samantha's

"You'll leave me here." I turned my gazed at Mon who's sitting on her vanity table.

Kakalabas ko lang ng banyo.

"No, saan ako pupunta?" I asked, although, alam ko na ang ibig niyang sabihin.

"Babalik kang manila." sabi niya.

"Yeah, but I won't leave you here." sagot ko.

"Paanong hindi iiwan? Babalik ka na nga doon." she looked down her head.

"Baby..." tawag ko at lumapit sa kaniya.

I hugged her from behind.

"6 hours travel from manila up to here is basic. I can come here whenever I want." I whispered.

Napabitaw naman ako sa pagkakayakap sa kaniya dahil kinurot niya na naman ako.

"At sa tingin mo papayag akong bumyahe ka araw araw ng anim na oras para lang pumunta rito?" sabi niya.

"What's wrong? I'll use my Dad's helicopter so I can go here faster." sabi ko sa kaniya pero pinanlakihan lang ako nito ng mata.

"Tumigil ka nga, Sam. I'm okay to see you once a week." sabi niya pero may lungkot sa tono ng boses niya.

"No, I can adjust my schedule for you, baby. You don't have nothing to worry." sabi ko.

"Hindi pwede yun, Sam. Ayokong mapagod ka araw araw dahil sa pabalik balik mo rito. Kailangan mo ring magpahinga kapag tapos na ang trabaho mo." I pouted my lips on what she said.

"But my rest is here."  I hugged her.

She hugged me back.

"I also want you here but you have priorities there." sabi niya sa'kin.

"Baby, you are on my top list of priorities. No matter how busy I am, I will still find a way to make time with you." sabi ko.

"But I don't want you to get tired." bulong niya.

"Baby, it's okay. Mawawala naman lahat ng pagod ko kapag nakita na kita." sabi ko na ikinapula niya.

"Aww my baby is blushing again." tukso ko sa kaniya.

"Tumigil ka nga, Sam. Matulog na tayo." tumayo siya sa pagkakaupo kaya napabitaw ako sa pagkakayakap sa kaniya.

"But if you want..." putol ko sa sinabi ko at napatingin sa'kin.

"Live with me there." bigla namang sumeryoso ang mukha niya.

"We can't, Sam." sabi niya.

"Why? Isn't it a good idea?" tanong ko.

"I'm still studying here at si Nanay siya lang maiiwan dito." sabi niya at umupo sa kama niya.

"Then I'll transfer you to other school there and kung gusto mo isama natin si Nanay." sabi ko, gosh, I sounds like desperate right now.

Nakita ko namang umiling siya.

"There's a right time for that, Sam. We can't just live together that easy." sabi niya at umupo sa tabi niya.

"Alright, I'm just giving you suggestions but I really want to be with you everyday." I hold her right hand and lift it on my left cheek. Pinahaplos ko ang kamay niya siya pisnge ko.

"I want you near me, badly. But like what you've said there's a right time for that and I am willing to wait." I sincerely said to her. She smiled.

"You'll behave there?" tanong niya.
