"Wow look at the sunset", I said pointing to the sky.
"It's beautiful."
"Just like you", Brandon replied kissing my cheek.
I smiled.
"You always know how to make my heart melt."
"What can I say. Your guy is smooth with it", he laughed.
As we sat there holding hands watching the sunset, I couldn't help but ask him a serious question.
"Were you really going to jump off that bridge?"
He sighed.
"I don't know. Probably."
I looked down.
"If you would've committed suicide, I wouldn't be able to live with myself", I replied tearing up.
He lifted my chin up.
"Megan. It wouldn't matter if I died or not. Because I knew I would have you either way", he replied.
Hearing this made me sad. He was crazy about me and I was crazy about him.
I smiled.
"Just promise me one thing?", I asked him.
"What's that?"
"Can you promise me that where ever you go, you'll find your way back to me?"
He kissed me.
"I'd travel to world and still come back to you", he replied.
I cried. This was it. This was the love that I needed. This was the love that Brandon needed to survive. The love that we needed to find our way back to each other.
I tugged him.
"Yes?"
"I have one more question?"
"What's that?
"What is love?", I asked.
He looked up at the sky and back to me.
"Love Is Us", he replied.
