G.C Bounds (Generational Curses: The Seeds That Were Planted)

It was 1904 , grandfather Jim was the man who started off this generation of course having a mother and father , but he planted the seed with Sharleen. Now sharleen was born in 1907 she was a few years younger than jim who was born in 1904. They didn't grow up together but, when they turned into teenagers which sharleen was newly 16 and she encountered Jim who's last name is Whitfield in 1923. Now by that time Jim was 19 almost 20 so he was a little older than sharleen .   Around that time , 16 or 14 was considered an adult. Now sharleen was a fun , energetic, and fully developed teen black girl in the south of Mississippi. Her mother named Deborah told sharleen one day to run to the market to pick up some things so she did. She was the only child after her brother who had died a few years back. he was killed in 1910 just short years after sharleen was born. The murder went unsolved but it's believed that three racist white men did it and buried His body. Sharleen's brother was named Jerry hasslefelt.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧'𝐬 & 𝐉𝐢𝐦'𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫
As sharleen was on her way to the market she was running and then she bumped into Jim. Jim said after sharleen bumped into him "you bitch watch were you're going" sharleen respond and "who you calling a bitch?". She then does a spitting form trying to spit on him but then he puts his hand over her mouth then pushes her away and he disappears into the crowd of people who were also shopping. Sharleen felt furious that that just had happened but in the mist of feeling that she also had a slight grin cause after all Jim was quite a catch. Brown skin , he was a carpenter like his father was, muscles, & hair like wool with dimples when he smiled. He was also 6 foot tall complimenting her height which was 5'8. After that day when she returned to the market she had seen him . it's like something came over her to were she gained an obsession over him. She started drawling pictures of him and every chance she got she would go down to the market at the same time every day just to see if he was there. Sharleen did this for days which turned into months and after a while the month of October came and this time she had finally seen Jim again. She saw him at a birthday party for her mother's  friend and Jim just had happened to be a nephew of Debbie's friend. Jim made eye contact with sharleen and said " long time no see". Sharleen replied and said "well I guess you can say after all that time... I'm unforgettable ". Jim laughed saying "Oh really". Now not to mention Jim did have a girlfriend he was dating for about 2-3 years now named "Darcy". Now Darcy was at this party so she seen sharleen and Jim talking . After she seen them she walked up and said "well Jim who is this girl you are talking to?". Jim said "Darcy this is sharleen , sharleen this is Darcy". Now for a minute or two the three of them stood there in silence until Darcy said something "well sharleen it was nice to meet you.
Sharleen replied "yeah, you too". Then sharleen walks off seemingly sad to find out someone she had a die hard crush on was in a relationship. She walks in the front door and when Debbie ask what's wrong she doesn't respond . The depths of the obsession & stalking for this man was beyond belief.

                                                                        𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐢𝐦 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝.

    One year later in 1924 , sharleen who was 17 Jim now 20 Darcy and Jim were engaged to be married. They really did love each other. But Darcy had moved up north so since the move Jim and Darcy were no longer getting married . Now sharleen found out by someone else so she took this opportunity to peruse Jim. So Debbie sent sharleen out to the market again and behold Jim happened to be there as well. So she seen him and Jim smiles and says "well this seems familiar". Sharleen says "it would be more familiar if your hand was over my mouth". So from that day leading into months turned 1 year and a half of them being together as a couple . it was 1926 when sharleen found out she was pregnant with her first child who would be a girl named "joicy" now that this happened Jim and sharleen decided to depart from their parent's houses and get a place of their own to raise their child together but as times went by , things got rough but  luckily they were able to find a 1 bedroom space for them in Debbie's friends house. Jim being the father had to get back to work on fields while sharleen took a job as a day laborer. Late 1926 sharleen had a beautiful baby girl "joicy".
Now months after having joicy and after getting married they managed to get their own home. But the couple started to have martial issues sharleen noticed a pattern starting to happen within Jim. He usually would be home off work around evening but he would start coming home at night time . She noticed and he smelt different as well. So one night she tired to wear something sexy but he seemed displeased & not satisfied. She knew something was off because that part of their marriage wasn't a problem. One night sharleen had her friend who's also a Mother watch joicy  while she followed Jim after he got off work. She seen him go to the local juke joint and 20 minutes later she gave up maybe thinking it was just her being dramatic. But then she seen him walk out a little tipsy and he was with some woman and the woman was Darcy.
