Part 11 Chapter 12

In January of 1970, the church that was once a house of God , was now a sanctuary for the devil. Sharleen's mission to take over the church and convert the pastor was successful. The pastor would sometimes think about his wife , and although he loved Sharleen he did miss the wife he once had.

    Matthew was doing well at work amidst of his temptations of wanting to have an affair with blossom. At first , blossom didn't care for Matthew she thought he was a player at work. Over the course of time she developed a crush on him because he would flirt with her every single day. Around this time Cherry was seven months pregnant with his third child , but that didn't stop Matthew from cheating unfortunately. Cherry started to notice a disconnect between her and Matthew , they were barely having sex and he would get up extra early for work , iron his own clothes , stepped up his hygiene care to the next level , even switched up his wardrobe for something more hip. Cherry at first thought he was just growing into his age until she realized a man only does that when he's trying to get a woman , but why is he doing it if he already has me? Cherry thought to herself. One day at work when Matthew and blossom were both walking to their cars , Matthew had asked blossom to go have a drink and dinner with him.... And she had finally gave him the three letter word he wanted , which was yes.

       The next night , Matthew told Cherry he was going out to hang with his friends but Cherry realized he was putting too much effort into getting ready to hang out with his friends. After many days of suspicion , cherry had finally said something to Matthew. Cherry "I'm sorry you're either gay or lying about your friends to see another woman". Matthew said turning his neck real fast "What?? What are you saying to me I'm not gay and I really am going out with my freinds , I'm not cheating on you". Cherry "you know Matthew , if I find out you are we are done. I thought you would've change the years but it's obvious you are still the same man you were when I met you at that party". Matthew "oh yes I'm the same man you opened your legs for ?". Cherry walked over by matthew and smacked him.
Matthew still had the nerve to go out with blossom and since cherry had went off on him , his accuse is that he wanted to stay the night at a hotel. Blossom wanted to get know who Matthew was outside of work because she didn't know what she was getting herself into. Blossom "who are you outside of work? Like I wanna know who you really are". Matthew gives her half and truth and says "to be honest I do have a crazy baby momma her name is cherry and I have one son his name is David. My baby momma does stay at the house because she can't really afford her own place , but other than that we aren't together. Blossom "I mean I don't know how I feel about baby momma drama but I do feel like you're a cool guy and I wouldn't mind meeting your son". Matthew forgot to mention that his "baby momma" was also seven months pregnant with his third baby. But that night as time went by , the two had some sort of connection which leaded to blossom being invited to Matthew's hotel.
 

      This night was the first of many that blossom and Matthew would sleep together. It became so obsessive that they would even sneak off at their job and do it there. One night ,  Cherry asked Maxi to watch David for her so she could spy on Matthew. Around evening time as it was getting dark outside , and Matthew and all his other co workers were all getting out and walking to their vehicles. She then seen Matthew kissing blossom and that right there was all she needed to see. She also seen them drive off separately to go meet at a motel just to find out all this time Matthew was lying about working late and new work hours when he really was going to have an affair with blossom. She managed to get away with following them all the way to the motel and sat in the parking lot thinking of her next move. She started getting emotional and reminiscing on all the good moments she had with him , especially the moment where her and matthew ran off to Las Vegas to get married. Cherry was full of anger and decided this is what she would do next. Cherry walked up to the motel door and bammed on it so hard , matthew thought it was the cops. As soon as he opened the door Cherry hit him upside the head with her purse. She then immediately grabs blossom's hair from the back as she tried to run and matthew put his pants back on to break it up between them. Cherry "let go of me and don't ever touch me again. We are done , I want a divorce and I want you out the house". As soon as cherry got home , she immediately through all of his clothes and shoes out and started a fire. Matthew immediately left the motel to retrieve his things but when he pulled up he seen the fire and knew cherry had snapped. Cherry had enough of putting herself second and doing everything Matthew wanted to do instead of putting herself first. Cherry wanted a career of her own and life , having two kids and getting married wasn't supposed to be the only achievements in life she had plans to be bigger and greater things. These days alot of women put their dreams and destiny's aside for a man they've chased after or wanted to do everything they could to keep him and to make them happy. Cherry had to learn a lesson the hard way that next time when it comes to any man she meets or married , she would have to make sure she put herself first in God.
