Part 10 Chapter 11

Cherish was pissed , she couldn't believe that she might not ever be able to have children. As soon as she went up to the door she banged on it. Sharleen opened the door and said "oh hello my daughter and granddaughter you must be excited to see me". Cherish "you know what Sharleen , I came here for one thing and one thing only and that was to find out what you know about what uncle Jerrel did that night he died".
Sharleen said "you're lucky my fiance isn't here , now both of you hurry up and get inside". Sharleen walks them in and sat them down. She then tries to offer them a drink but they knew better to say "no". It was obvious she was a witch at this point . Joicy then said "look mother , we just wanted to know what happened cherish had a memory of the day after grandma Debbie's funeral of you saying something about her being barren". Sharleen "I'll tell you all I know , even though it puts me at risk. The night of my sons , your brother's death he was told to put cherish on the altar for his music career. He was hesitant to do it so he tried to take it back , but it was too late. He negotiated with the warlock even tried offering up himself but it was stlll a no. That warlock has you barren and it's a curse that was put on you so you wouldn't extended the bloodline of this family. If your baby was to be born it would've probably been a first born girl like Joicy and the devil doesn't want that". Cherish starts crying , she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Joicy said "so you knew Jerrel was doing disturbing things and didn't tell anyone?". Sharleen "girl I could not interfere with that , I had no choice but to let it happen". Joicy oh yea just like my father? You had to let him die too? Cherish baby I know your upset but I want for you to wait for me in the car ill be out in a second". Cherish took the keys and walked out the door.

Joicy told Sharleen something she's been waiting to say for years , "sometimes I just don't understand you or the woman you've become. How could you grow old to be someone so evil? Oh and I heard that before you came around this pastor he was married so how did you manage to do that mother? Using your demonic ways to get what you want again? Look I'm so done with being mad and upset with you so imma lay it out right here. Yes I did hate you for what you made me do as a little girl raising two sons you had and I hated that I growed up with some of your flaws. Apart of me wanted you dead for so long after all the bullshit you put me through. I also know your the evil sick woman who put my name on the offering you witch. Now I forgive you and I no longer have hate for you in my heart. But before I leave let me say this. Your time is coming mother , God gave you so many chances to turn your ways and you didn't listen. This evil plan you have is gonna fell and every way possible and when you die it won't be a sorrowful day it'll be a joyful one. Everything you put your hands upon will burn in fire just like you will burn in hell. So I guess this is goodbye ....Mother".

After joicy and cherish left , Sharleen was crying hysterically. She was so lost in her sins she felt like she couldn't get out of it. Her mind was doubled feeling two different types of emotions. One part of her mind was remorseful and the other part didn't feel anything , I mean why would she bad sad? After all these years she had finally met a man she was going to marry and become first lady of a congregation. She immediately sucked her tears up and continued to get ready for her event at her community center , welcoming new warlocks and witches. A few weeks later , Cherish was still depressed about the lost of her baby. She started falling back on her grades and she barely talked to anyone including Brian. He tried his hardest to focus on football but that as well became hard for him , the one woman he loved was told that she couldn't have children of her own and that broke him. Brian wanted to do something that would cheer him and cherish up , he wanted cherish to gather her family and friends to help her plan their wedding. Joicy had told Cherish she wouldn't mind paying for the wedding or the dress as only it was in budget.

Matthew and Cherry unfortunately got the confirmation that they would be expecting another child together , This would make Matthew's third child. After they got the news they knew their parents would be upset to hear this so they decided to keep it a secret.
Cherish and her mom's friend Melissa were very close she looked at Cherish as her own niece. Cherish wanted some advice on what do with her wedding and also wanted to have some grown lady talk. Melissa asked Cherish "How are you doing baby? It's good to see you up and planning your wedding". Cherish "I'm doing good , I'll just be glad when it's all over and I can walk down the aisle say I do , then party at the reception". Mellissa "Cherish you don't have to lie to me , I know you. How are you really feeling?". Cherish took a deep breath before she responded and said "if I'm being honest I feel numb.....and angry. Angry at how God would allow this to happen to me. I've always loved God , always prayed , always went to church , tried reading the Bible when I got a chance , yes I made the mistake to sleep with Brian before I got married but it was one time". Melissa then said "It's okay to be upset , but being mad at God is not the way. God should always be first and until he is first he'll make sure you'll see that for yourself". Cherish the got up and said "so you're telling me I'm the reason I'm barren? I'm the reason my baby died? Because I didn't put a man in a sky that I barely know first? I hate him I hate him for allowing this to happen to me. Why should I have to suffer for the sins of my family? Why?" She said while crying. Melisa walked over and hugged her and spoke in to her "Baby it's okay , God would not bring you this far to leave you , he loves you even if you don't know home. I want you to promise yourself you'll take the time to know him more and I promise you he's gonna bless you in every way possible with no limit. That God that you say you hate right now feels every emotion you're going through. I promise he'll work out your situation for you , you just have to believe". Cherish realized that day some things happen for a reason and she couldn't walk around blaming God. He would never do anything that wasn't for a reason because God is a faithful God.
